The "Chicken" Thread

 It's A Small World. Some of those little people creep me out. Just kidding! I do all the rides, but Mission Space gets to me a little.

Tower of Terror
Mission: Space
Astor Oriter (made me very dizzy)
Body Wars (nausea alert)
Star Tours (nausea alert)

I am not crazy about the sensation of falling either, but I wouldn't miss ToT for the world; it's one of the best themed attractions in all of WDW, and IMHO, well worth the temporary discomfort of the drop. I also love Mission: Space, Space Mtn, and all the rest that have been mentioned here. In fact, there is only one ride in all of WDW that I absolutely won't do for fear of being deathly ill, and that's the Mad Hatter's spin'n'barf, er, Tea Cups... :crazy2:

Absolutely, hands down, ToT. I already have a fear of elevators, this ride is my worst nightmare.

HUGE ride chicken here, but I vow to try one thing that I think I'll be afraid of, but may not be - so I have tried Dinosuar (love it), Kali Rapids (love it), Soarin' (love it), Test Track (hate it).

Will NEVER do any of the mountains, ToT or RRC, MS.

But my biggest freak out - I can't even watch my family do Primeval Whirl!!!!!!!!!!!

I will never do mission space again. ever. A ride has never made me feel that sick.

I do not like to get wet. If I want wet I will take a shower or go for a swim. I refuse to ride Kali River Rapids or even Splash Moutain. Something my kids think is funnier than a booger hanging out of a strangers nose.

I also hate getting wet, I even get freaked out on the drop in Pirates!! I can't do Splash Mountain, Kali or anything in the water parks except the lazy rivers. I did TOT once - never again, I literally shook for 45mins after coming off it.

I'm working on the rollercoasters, managed to do Space Mountain for the first time last year but I was actually crying with fear getting on it! Hoping to maybe try for RNRC this time.

I am so glad I found this thread. I need advice. I have been to DW many times and in July, I am taking my best friend, who had NEVER been! Now I ride everything, but she is a chicken. I'm afraid she won't even get on Splash Mountain or Space Mountain, let alone Tower of Terror, Rockin Rollercoaster, or Mission Space. For the tamer rides, I'm considering telling her they are not bad at all, and then risk her killing me when she gets off. But she can't miss Splash Mountain--the big hill is one tiny fraction of an otherwise amazing ride! Do I lie to her and drag her on? If I don't, I am going to be riding solo on many a ride! (Also, we are both 25 years old, so age and rickety bodies are not a factor)!

I'm a huge Chicken! I won't ride Mission Space, Test Track, Rockin Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountin RR, anything that will get me wet, and I can almost guarantee that I won't ride Everest!

I wont ride RRC, Dinosaur or Mission Space. I have fears of going upside down, dinosaurs, and getting sick! So those rides are not for me.
Tower of Terror is the best ride I have ever been on though :thumbsup2

The only ones i won't ride is Mission Space and the teacups! You can throw me in the air, drop me fast, turn me upside down, but DO NOT spin me!

I won't ride Tower of Terror, mainly because I hate big drops like that. It looks like a cool ride, but it's just not for me. I've been on Mission:Space once, and it only made me a little dizzy, but I think just that one time was enough. I also don't love the Astro Orbiters and don't need to go on that ever again. I get incredibly nervous when I'm about to ride RnRC and Space Mountain, yet I do really love them after it's all over. It looks like EE will be another one that I'll be a little scared to ride, but I really want to do it!

I agree!! Please don't make me get on any ride that spins :crazy2:

I have never been on Splash Mountain, Mission Space, ToT, and RnRC. I hate drops and going upside down! It's funny because when I was there in Dec, DBF rode everything and I just sat out while he was on the rides listed above! But he did get me on Space Mountain!

I have ridden ToT 3 times, and each time I have absolutely hated it. The falling feeling is just too much for me. I get back on each time thinking, "This time I will like it!" But nope, I never do. I've never gotten to enjoy the special effects because the whole time I am just to freaked out about the dropping. I have vowed never to ride this again.

I haven't ridden Mission Space because of all the hype...but I really want to try it.

For the longest time I could not get up the nerve to do RnRc, b/c the launch looked so scary, and I always ended up in the line right after ToT. I did it for the first time last year and loved it. I will def. ride it again.

Well TOT used to be my biggest fear. But I got some courage and went on for my first time in September and I loved it.

I will not ride the teacups. No spinning for me. No thank you.

The top of the list is Mission:Space. There is no way you are getting me on this ride. I HATE spinning. I will ride the teacups before I ride this. :crazy2:

I refuse to do anything that will flip you upside down (RNRC), and I refuse to do Mission: Space. I'm open to anything else.

The only coasters I've done in the World are Splash and Big Thunder. I would be open to doing Space Mountain but I've never done it before, and I would do ToT.

The motion simulators make me sick, and Dumbo and Astro Orbiters make me sicker than Splash or Big Thunder.
