I don't even know what he's into anymore. He used to be really into Bionicles, Power Rangers and that sort of thing, but I imagine that's old news to an 11yo.

I used to stick with the clothes because it seemed they always needed some. Maybe it's time to go to Plan B.

That's true. My brother is big into the gift card thing, he always gets the boys ones for Toys R Us.

I'll have to think about that some more, I guess...

Yup! I like them.. because once they start hitting pre teens, they are hard to shop for, you know. Plus, if you arent SUPER close, its hard to tell what they even like.

My bf and I went to another motorcycle shop and then we tried Korean BBQ at this small restaraunt. We stopped at the Korean Market next door and got some snacks. Some lady handing out samples kept speaking to me in Korean but I kept telling her I didn't understand and that I wasn't Korean but she kept insisting I try these fish balls and I ran to another aisle. :scared1: :rotfl:

We went to the mall for a few minutes and then went to Walmart. It was absolute chaos trying to pay for our stuff. They didn't have enough cashiers and the lines were insanely long. The self-checkout was the worst. No one was moving and there were 2 self-checkout stands open. My bf and I tried to use one but were stopped by an employee. He told us that the line was back there and pointed to a long line of people. We asked why no one was moving then and he had to tell the people to use them (they were just standing there and causing a huge line). Three families were using the self-checkout machines at the same time. They all did not know how to use them and soon our line grew even longer. They had to re-scan everything, didn't know how to pay for the items. One woman had items and paid some with cash and 3 or 4 more items separately (also with cash) which made no sense to us. It was a nightmare. We waited 15-20 minutes to pay for our stuff. The registers next to us were slow as heck and no one seemd to be moving. :headache:

Bummer..

As we were walking out the door they announced that the register was open in Garden (their garden section was closed but apparently the register was still open back there, but they only had 1 open). :sad2:

On a happier note, MHT is in a few days. It sold out for the day we are going. I hope it's not crazy :dance3:

Pix, you are going to have a lot of fun!

I wish we hadn't been so tired on the day we went. It sounds like there was so much more to do, but we missed it by staying only 1.5 hours. :rotfl:
