I can hear DS4 upstairs making weird noises instead of napping.
I have no idea what he's doing, why he's making those noises, but they're hilarious!

DANG IT! I just remembered I need to get that pot roast started in the crockpot... Oooo, and get DS ready to pick up his brother at the school! Uff, behind already!

He is probably into something naughty! At least hes past the poop smearing stage!

Hello Hyenas,

My bf wasn't feeling well last night. He came home from work and looked terrible. I hugged him for a bit and fell asleep (it was almost 2am). This afternoon I went home for lunch and had him take his temperature. He has a small fever but he says his throat hurts like heck and had a difficult time falling asleep last night. I made him some chicken broth and rice during my lunch break and gave him some tylenol multi-symptom for fever, runny nose and sore throat. I hope it helps. He called in sick today and is sleeping.

Time Warner came over today. Two techs went to the house. I hope the internet problem is fixed.

My bf said that one of them had a cellphone and it went off really loud. The guy's ringtone was: Blah blah blah blah blah

We had a late dinner (DH just got home around 7), then ran the boys through the wash & rinse cycles; now they are desserted and soon to be shipped off to the Land of Nod.

DH and I are watching The Mentalist. WOW, good show! And just had a funny moment when he dressed down a kooky detective, saying he was sure the guy gets turned on at violent crime scenes. He said, "You're a ghoul." He told the lead detective, "I'm sorry. He irks me. He's irksome." and walked out of the room.

ok, so I just talked to the company that is selling the resale for saratoga springs, the one point package they had is sold...great, they have more for ssr but not the points we are looking at...so our choices now are the animal kingdom, wait for the contemp. one to sell to general public...or wait for the ssr we want...(I really liked the ssr one..it is very pretty)

I wish Disney was still selling the ssr....it would be easier...so unless we find what we want then its one of the others...............I just don't know...........one of you really need to sign on.....I am talking to myself....

yes, the only way you can get one is by a resale...you can still go there, but it won't be your home resort

no,..we toured it knowing the only way to get it is if someone else lets theirs go...it is a nice resort...they are pushing animal kingdom...i am on phone now..I can find another ssr for resale but most have already used this years points..etc..

if we buy akv now, (which isn't scheduled to open until may) we get 200 points to use now and new points to set in I think in dec(?), they are taking 8.00 off the points..which are currently 104.00...but, I AM NOT CRAZY about animal kingdom..and the fees are higher...

we can buy the at the new one next to the contemporary (can't remember the name) at 112.00 with 5.00 off of each point at a cheaper monthly fee..)

I ask about a list for SSR but, many people still want them...so unless I find the amount of points we want at resale SSR is out....

we may be going back sooner than planned..I dunno...now I am wishing we had gone ahead with the resale one...

Anywhos, are you looking at resales here on the DIS, or all over. I'm sure that there are other sites that list DVCs?

When we were talking to DVC at DL, they also wanted to push AK. I'm with you. Higher fees and not really my style. Being on the west coast, I really wanted to buy out here. But right now, the word is that you have to buy something back east to have the right to buy out here. Well at least to have first pick. So who knows what is going to happen? Like I said, if we can not buy just the Grand Calif., then we will wait, and maybe someday, they will come up on the resales. The fees will probably be higher, but at least it is something we can use alot, as it is so close to us.

OR we can all go crash at my sister's house a mere 1 hour away from WDW and pay no points, fees or anything.

You have your own personal pool in the backyard with no screaming children, a screen room to enjoy your evening drink, within walking distance to the beach, full size washer & dryer, your choice of 2 spare bedrooms as well as a fully stocked refrigerator & pantry, and pets are welcome!

Now granted the downside is a 1 hour drive to WDW. But let's face it...you can easily spend 1 hour waiting for and riding on a WDW bus to your onsite resort.

Waddayasay girls?? Slumber party at Shery's house for spring break??!!
