So I guess I should be happy today...my boss leased a 2008 Mercedes CLK convertible for 2 years. He really doesn't like the car, but can't get out of the lease. So, he's working on getting a new car and he said that I could have the convertible to drive for the remainder of the lease (about 22 months!). Anyway, it looks like this, but it's red. I should be ecstatic right...who in their right mind wouldn't. But I just have so much crap going on in my head right now that it's sort of clouding up the excitement. I mean really, isn't this just the sort of car that someone going thru a midlife crisis NEEDS!

How about Johnny Depp in a Mercedes?

Actually I am going up to Mt. Rainier next weekend for the Casting for Recovery thing. But spending the weekend with a bunch of ladies that are missing a breast or two and dealing with cancer issues is not really my idea of a great "get away"! Although it's probably really what I need right now.

That will be fun! Think of it as a recharge your battery kind of thing.. Chances are there is another lady who is feeling the midlife/post cancer blues too.

Hubby has these blue moments too, he doesn't look sick.. and since it's something he does all the time, people forget that it is a life altering illness.. just because you are feeling good doesn't mean all the worries have gone away.

That is so strange you should mention that. I was just looking for pole dance lessons online! There is a studio right here in Vancouver and they get really good reviews.

I guess the other thing that bother's me...and maybe it's just me...but I just associate Mercedes with old people. But like I said, who's complaining...certainly not me.
