no, i was thinking of trying another picture and chocolate cookie was what i googled because thats the first thing that came to my mind. :)

That's dangerous in the evening. First an innocent chocolate chip cookie comes to mind and then before you know it you've consumed an entire package of Chips Ahoy!:lmao:

So how's life going Albort?

So did I miss anything fun and exciting on the Hyena thread since last Thursday?

Good evening, Sam!

I'll be back in a few... I just brought some ice cream drumsticks out of the freezer for the boys, and DS4 smells real bad! :scared1:

So I'm off to supervise pull-up removal, haz mat clean-up and disposal. Wish me luck!!! :scared:

Oh, hey! I rushed to the bathroom before he got too far stripping, and he was already stripped. He had grabbed a plastic grocery sack to collect the nasties, and grabbed the box of wipes, and had already started the clean-up. I'm so surprised! And pleased! :thumbsup2

Of course, I'd be a whole heck of a lot MORE pleased if he'd just use the toilet... :headache:

You know I'm already here. No need to talk about the brown stuff!:lmao:

Let's see...

You took off to Mt. Rainier for an adventure in fly-fishing. :fish:
Gina and her DH took off for WDW to check out the DVC deal. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
Staley and her DH were cranky and arguing about stupid stuff. :furious: :furious:
Dizzy's been working like crazy, and more for the next few weeks before her DL trip. :faint:
Shawna's kids are real party animals, with birthday party engagements every weekend for the foreseeable future. :lmao:

Something I learned this weekend from my a new breast cancer survivor friend...Breast Cancer is the Cure for Vacuuming!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: The general consensus was that it also cures dusting, laundry and all sorts of other housework.:rotfl2:

Oh, and DH's mother and stepfather stopped by to visit on their way to a 3-week near-cross-country tour. They'll stop along the way, but their furthest points willbe Missouri and Oklahoma, then heading back west, perhaps with a stop in Yuma, I believe.

I told my MIL about "the brown stuff" being your calling service; she thought that was hilarious! :rotfl2:

She asked when your upcoming fly-fishing trip was, and was so pleased to hear it was last weekend! She said she thought it sounded like a lot of fun, but didn't think she'd apply because she thought there were "more deserving" women out there who could use the break.

I don't know much about the qualifications or how difficult it is to get a spot, but I told her if she wanted to, she should just sign up. :thumbsup2

So what you're trying to say is that I'm not the glue that holds this entire message board together?:confused3 :rotfl2:

Not necessarily; it sounds like "when Alison isn't around, everyone else bails!" Howzat??? :rotfl:

Dizzy!

Did you ever contact Mary Jo and see if it was part of the "punishment" deal? Seems odd that they would do that and not say anything about it, though. :confused3

No - I don't see the point in beating a dead horse. I received an infraction - equal to one I received in the past and no tags went missing then. It also didn't happen right away, only after I sent apologies to everyone via PM (the other threads were all closed before I got a chance to contribute). I am still pretty upset over the whole deal, I really did not mean any harm.

no , I was at his work, to drop off some things, and he followed me home. While we were driving he tried to pass me and i wouldn't let him:lmao: I boxed him in:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Tell her she MUST sign up for it. They do it once a year...they have one near Bend and also one in Southern Oregon near the coast. The only qualification is you must be a breast cancer survivor...that's it!! They take the names of everyone that signs up and draw them randomly. I think I was lucky because I got picked the first year. Some of the women signed up for 2-3 years before they got picked.

It was such a fun weekend and there were ladies there that were 10 years survivors, 1 that just finished chemo and everyone in between. Some ladies only went thru lumpectomy and radiation, some had only mastectomy and no chemo. We did have one lady that was Stage 4 and had been battling her cancer for 8 years. The oldest lady there was 78 and I was the youngest at 43. There were 14 breast cancer survivors and about 10 staff members. We learned to fly fish, tie fly's, recognize bugs, ate lots of good food, read poems, cried a little bit, talked about living with cancer, and we laughed,
boy did we laugh! Everyone hated to see the weekend end.

All she has to do is go to the Casting for Recovery website and sign up. It's that easy!:thumbsup2
