Flax seeds, freshly ground -- they lose effectiveness if ground far in advance and body will not digest them unless ground.

Some brands of milk have DHA added-- Horizon organic comes to mind.

Im BACK! From the store. My life is ever so exciting right now. My kids are sitting on the couch eating donuts. YEP. Thats right. I said it.... My kids are sitting on the COUCH, eating DONUTS. They might as well have something yummy, even though I cant.

So.... funny story. We went to Taco Del Mar the other day and the woman was taking FOREVER. Really... She was SO SLOW. I was hungry. VERY HUNGRY. You know.... angry pregnant hungry. I was getting SO MAD at this woman, my husband was ACTUALLY holding me back from jumping over the counter. And he didnt even bat an eye. Now THATS why I married him. When I flip out on the taco lady, he just nods and smiles... and holds me back.

Omega 3s are in lots of things, including salmon and avocados.

I have to take DHA specifically. I was just wondering if it was just fish oil... She always goes on and on about how smelly prenatals are, because of fish oil, and I have never had that problem.

I KNOW, right! It takes a good man to put up with a crazy lady like me. Especially when I am pregnant. Apparently I am a MEAN pregnant lady. I have NO idea WHAT he is talking about. I ONLY tried to smother him in his sleep ONCE. wimp

Jake was late for football and I started crying and yelling at Dh because he's late for everything.

hmm, grass fed beef/lamb

cage free chickens who eat grass and insects.. and their eggs .. or buy the eggs with the extra omegas in them.

Walnuts

The study I read says it's good for heart disease, lowers blood pressure, decreases preterm labor and low birth weight babies, depression... good for developing healthy smart kids too.

Hey look. 2 of the main side effects according to my paperwork of Topomax are nevousness and anxiiety

I go in to see the DR in 2 weeks. Maybe I need to have this adjusted if it doesnt get any better.

It is NO big deal!! I started crying when I said I was hungry, and my BIL said.... AGAIN???? You are probably tired, and stressed out.. You have SO much going on.

I need to STOP reading the twin boards. These ladies are 15-25 weeks, and they are already full term size... wearing support belts... not sleeping... OMG. I am going to DIE. My husband is going to KILL me.

Though I wonder if yhou could go with the lower cost prenatal and just buy a good quality fish oil capsule? I would ask your doc if it would be almost the same.

My sis today was cracking a joke about eating too much of the tuna from WIC when she was preg with her son with autsim. She wants to test him for heavy metals but is running into a roadblock to find the right test and the right doc/chiropractor.

Anyway, we both found it odd that WIC was pushing canned tuna on preg women.. it's on the list of foods to limit because it has high levels of mercury.

2. I've heard cod liver oil IS gross. I think that's what my grandma used to give her children, a daily teaspoonful. And I've heard it tastes nasty!

I KNOW. My husband almost stabbed me in the eye when I mentioned eating tuna!! I have never seen his eyes glow with rage before. But why would they be pushing tuna, when you arent supposed to be eating it??
