This whole hotel thingy is confusing to me. Split a room into 6 things and make crap up as you go? Those rooms were way confusing.

Stupid question and maybe I missed it...who went shopping for all the luxury items for Ian's team? It seemed like they were all there most of the time??

I've really enjoyed Kate on this. I don't really watch this show, but wanted to this season because I actually 'knew' who was on.

Can someone give a quick update of the last half an hour of the second episode? DH wasn't home tonight but he was on TV. A jazz band he performs with was on the local PBS or PEG channel, (not live.) When he and DS16 walked in the door at 9:30, DS said, "Mom, I can't believe you didn't watch the SU basketball game!" And I said, "OMG, I didn't watch your father, either!" I quickly turned the channel so when he came into the room, it was on. In my defense, he's been on TV before and he knows I'm not crazy about some of the jazzier jazz this band does.

I went to a different TV just in time to see who was fired.

Basically Kate's team lost, Kenya and Vivica literally bickered back and forth. Kenya said that the Trumps are the first family of the US, she is learning so much and feels that she is a key part of the design and implementation of the other tasks that her former team won with, and that she deserves to be The Celebrity Apprentice. Then at the last second Kenya said that she was concerned that Kate may not have a grasp of the higher end expectation associated with the Trump name and then boom Kate was fired.

I've really enjoyed Kate on this. I don't really watch this show, but wanted to this season because I actually 'knew' who was on.

Yeah, Kate was a lot more likable than I expected. Heck, she's tge most qualified conrestant to get a grouo of diverse personalities to cooperate. Well, maybe only if she raised them from birth, but some of the contestants don't seem as mature as her kids.

I thought someone joked earlier that Ian was doing a bad William Shatner impersonation. (He is famous for breaking in strange places in sentences. )

It surprised me too. But, when you think about it, the drama Kenya creates is probably precisely why Trump kept her over Kate. Putting her on Viveca's team, they can create a lot of drama together and about each other.

He never was going to keep Kate to the end. He got annoyed by the way she answered him in the Boardroom. He kept cutting her off and wouldn't let her finish. He even said to her right before firing her: "It's your time."

I also noticed, when he was thinking about who should go over to Geraldo's team and someone said "Leeza," that Trump didn't send her over. I'm wondering if, in the end, the Final Two will be Geraldo, (the annoying, but loud & full of himself guy,) against Leeza, America's sweetheart, who is intelligent, fair and doesn't have a bad word to say about anyone.

Kenya wanted Kate to go and she'd take over as head of the project. She'd get all the credit if they won, and she could throw Kate under the bus for not staying and overseeing the project, but went shopping instead, if they lost.

Well, Kenya sure is the one to hate this season lol. I cannot believe that she really thinks she has talent. I think my job dropped when she was "singing" and "dancing" and wondering how people get so totally delusional.

I liked Kate, this was my first exposure to her and she seemed quite likeable and mature and really seemed to want to focus on the tasks and not get bogged down in the personal.

Sig getting fired, hardly registered with me. He hasn't done much of anything and then that inexplicable temper tantrum - what the heck was that? If I was one of those bartenders I would have said " see ya" and left him in the lurch.

Two shows a night, wow this season is going to go fast!

I had a similar thought last night--but it was more like I wondered what acting abilities he had because he seemed an awful lot like his character on 90210.


And with all 1mm of snow, it appears that getting guests to the Today show won't be a problem.

Kenya, Geraldo and Ian have GOT to go! These people are just grating on my last nerve. They just LOVE the sound of their own voice. I can't even decide who I like the least. One minute it's Geraldo, then Kenya and Ian.

Next week looks interesting. I agree with a PP that it will probably come down to Leeza and Geraldo in the finale.
