The Celebrity Apprentice 2

I paused my DVR when they were runing the preview. It looked like Joan had Melissa (naturally), Clint and Herschel. I know Annie had Tom Green, but I can't remember who else, probably because I can't stand her so I didn't spend too much time looking at her team.

It was Dennis Rodman and Brande.

Annie has Dennis Rodman, Tom Green and Brandie?? Wow - that seems really crazy. Tom and Dennis were so uncontrolable. Annie's got her work cut out for her

:thumbsup2 I didn't like her and Melissa before the show and I dislike them even more now.

ITA w/you, MuffyJo! :sad2:

BUT what I would like to say is I am THRILLED that last night out of the 4 remaining contestants 3 were women!!! :thumbsup2

:cool1: And in the FINALE, it will be 2 women!!! :cool1:

:dance3: I am so going with Annie as the Winner!!!! :dance3:

I agree! I only watch the show online because I record the Amazing Race and our DVR is ancient. SO ... I missed the previews. I wonder how the heck Annie got stuck with Dennis and Tom. I think she can probably get Tom to do what she wants is she asks in the right way. Dennis is a total liability EXCEPT if he can be used to schmooze with people.

That being said ... Clint will not take being a follower very well either. So, I think that Joan has a problem there too. NOTHING compared to Dennis, though!

Go Annie! Yep, she is full of herself but I prefer that over Joan's nasty attitude and comments. I hope Joan goes down in flames.

I like be Joan and Annie.

I think that Jesse was fired because if he came up against Annie for charity, he would have won as far as donations go because he has a lot of celebrities to call on. Trump also picked Joan and Annie for the drama. I think Annie wins no matter what.

It sounded like Trump only brought on Jesse for his wife, not for his own virtues. Jesse has a lot more going for him than most of the other "celebs', without his wife.

It is a bit annoying to me that celebs are fired based on their teamwork but rewarded in the end for the amount of money raised. That is a double-edged sword, IMHO.

If I had to hear Joan say "cluck cluck cluck cluck... splash" one more time I was not going to be happy. It just wasn't funny.

I was getting annoyed with Trump talking about Jesse's wife. If you want Sandra Bullock and couldn't get her, you shouldn't have settled for her husband. Did you hear Trump make that comment about Sandra not wanting him? :scared1:Ewww, why would she want Donald? He's creepy

Annie's "poker face" annoys me. She constantly has this look as if everything's rosey and she's sweet as pie, but she's thinking something totally different - just like in poker.

Joan cracked me up when she said if Annie ever gets a face lift, she's gonna need two doctors:rotfl2:

I have always liked Joan because she calls 'em like she sees 'em. You know where you stand with Joan. With Annie, :confused3

But Joan could chill a little on the being so upset with Annie, personally - she's gonna bust a stitch in her face:lmao:

Jesse is kind of complex. In one way, he did shoot himself in the foot by not calling even one celebrity friend for fundraising for anyone else's charity. It didn't have to be his wife. It would have shown he is connected to other deep pockets.

Jesse was in Hollywood, before he ever met his wife, with two TV shows, for Monster Cars & one for motorcycles. (In fact, that's how he met Sandra. She bought her godson to his garage to see the cars, because of the show. They had never met before.)

If he had done some hefty fundraising, he would have shown he has quite an ace in his pocket that he wasn't reluctant to use - even if he had no real intention to ever bring Sandra on the show. ;)

But, in chess game terminology, he never brought his Queen out on the board, or even alluded to doing so. Anyone who plays chess knows it's nearly impossible to win a game if you never bring out the Queen, or bring her out too late and all the other pieces have been played & lost.

When Trump even asked Jesse if he'd be willing to bring his wife on for the Finale, Jesse, himself had such a poker face on, I thought he could have rivaled Annie. If he had even said, "Well, heck, yeah, if that's what it takes to win the task," Trump may have still picked him over Joan.

Even one small show clip of A-Lister, Sandra Bullock, on The Celebrity Apprentice, beats out an whole two hours with Joan Rivers any day. And Trump & NBC could have advertised that up the wazoo, in the uncoming previews. "You'll never guess which movie star shows up to support the celebs on The Celebrity Apprentice!" :hyper2:

But, I do give Jesse quite a lot of credit for not using his wife in that way. Piers & Trump weren't even subtle after a while that Jesse's ultimate value was for his wife. As Piers pointed out, Jesse was seething over the conversation about bringing his wife on.

By the time he had that last final conversation in the Boardroom with Trump asking again if Jesse would bring on Sandra for the finale, it was the fourth conversation about her. :furious:

I think, even Trump realized by that time, that on principle, Jesse would probably not bring Sandra on for the Finale, even if it cost him the win. In fact, that was pretty much the last thing Trump said to Jesse, "I have a feeling you won't bring her on. You're fired."

It was one thing for Jesse to want to voluntarily ask her on the show. I admit it, I'd be interested in seeing them together. Jesse is quite an enigma where still waters seem to run very deep.

But, it's another for his "employment" to be contingent on him bringing her on. Especially, when one clip of her would do so much more for Trump, the show's ratings, & NBC, than it would for Jesse or Sandra. She doesn't need that publicity. She's already an A-lister. Jesse, kind of got whatever visiblility he wanted or needed from the show without trotting out his wife to make him more important.

I wonder, if he's not on the Finale, it's because he's had enough of him only being used to get to Sandra. :scratchin Since he's not bringing her on, he decided he didn't even want to do the Finale episode. Usually the final thrid person IS on the show. But, someone above, didn't say she saw him in the preview clip. Maybe that's why they went so far back as to get Tom Green to do the Finale. :confused3

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Jesse's anger and loathing for people wanting him only because of his connection to Sandra happened when they first got together and it finally became public. Probably people he hadn't seen in a long time were suddenly ringing him up with invitations, overnight, being so "friendly." "Oh, by the way, bring your new girlfriend!" Hollywood.

Darn the finale is on tonight and starts at 8:00 the same time Amazing Race's finale is on ....What to do!!!

The kids watch Amazing Race with me so I guess I will be watching that with them and recording the first part of Apprentice. And channel flipping too .:lmao:

I'm rooting for Joan. Can't stand two faced Annie. Go Joan!! It'll be interesting to see Dennis Rodman on Annie's team. Especially since they never worked together.

I'd be fine if Joan not only won but ended Annie's fifteen minutes of infamy... :furious:

I agree I'm hoping Joan mops the floor with Two Face (Annie).

I wonder how 'smart' Brande feels after seeing the show and how Joan was right and Annie totally played her. And she heard Annie say those awful things about her.

Setting it up so the two most obnoxious contestants are in the finals and sending Rodman to rehab at the end - Trump is really skilled at driving up the ratings of the show. Why do I watch??????

I have always loved Apprentice but this season not so much. Trumps biase for Brandi really shined though to me and I have felt she deserved to go in the very beginning so to me Trump hasn't been professional in this season at all. slipping the note made me mad, it probably said " don't get rid of my baby Brandi, just look at those ****s, maybe I can get some"....hehe

Is it just about who raises the most money, or who does the best job????

Even though I thought the way Melissa left was very childest I still think she was a better player than Brandi. Something about Annie I just want to slap her, her better than anyone attuide really has got to me.

Jessie James I really liked and hated to see him go, Clint just got on my nerves. I have never really liked Joan but on this show she was ok, I hope she wins this!!!!!!!!

I don't think Jesse deserves/requires this much analysis. He's on this show because he needs to drum up publicity for his new show. End of story.

I agree 100%. It's ironic that Annie feels so justified in calling Joan a witch. I wonder if she has any idea how she presents herself.

Ok, I have watched the previews a few times now leading up to tonight's finale...to me it appears that in the broadroom, Donald is looking in the direction of Joan when he screams "YOU ARE THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE"....any thoughts on that....?

Tonight looks to be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :happytv:
