The Celebrity Apprentice 2

while I don't think Chloe did much to keep her around, her firing is typical Trump. He seems to make moves just to prove he can. That's one of the things I don't like about him.

I'm rooting for either Herscel or Brian to win
Herschel. Or Jesse. Sure, Brian was the PM for KOTU's only win, but he doesn't seem to have the leadership potential Herschel does. And I just LIKE Jesse. Or Trump can fire 'em all and bring back Trace Adkins ;)

I'm with you...Trace Adkins was awesome..he was the tall, quiet guy sitting inthe corner with ALL the great ideas! At least he got to sing his song onthe finale;)

I like Jesse too has that same smart and quiet quality.

I turned the channel when Trump fired Tionne. I swore I would never watch another episode. But is it true Trump fired Chloe because she had a DUI? It's like he brought her on the show to fire her for that reason! Plus, didnt Trump fire Miss America when she got in trouble with the law?

Trump said he and the prodicers did not know ahead of time that Chloe had a DUI or he would not have even had her on the show. Repeating for the third time, Trump's brother died from alcoholism. He takes that very seriously. So I can see why he would detest someone, (Chloe) who presumably is not an alcoholic yet, but recklessly and selfishly drinks then gets behind the wheel of a car to possibly kill someone else.

Alcoholism is a disease. It kills the person involved and destroys their family. Drinking and driving is just selfish behavior because it kills other people. Presumably, at the beginning of the evening, they know they are going out drinking. Since they didn't make arrangements beforehand for a hired driver or friend who is a designated driver to take them home, then they know already know ahead of time they will be driving themselves home.

It's not a MISTAKE to drink and drive - which Chloe, in the car, at the end of the show called it. When drunk drivers kill someone, it's not called an "accident." It's called vehicular manslaughter. There is a level of premeditation and responsibility in the act.

As for Miss Universe, if she drove after she had already won the crown, which she would have had to sign a lengthy legal contract stating she would represent the title in a certain way, then she was in breach of contract and he had a right to fire her.

I have trouble with that explanation only because he had Dennis on the same show who showed obviously drinking problems and was not let go for that reason...and several of the other contestants (well I think Jesse and did Clint say he was a former drinker?) have had problems with alcohol in the past. In addition I believe former contestants surely were recovering alcoholics ... its a widespread disease/problem and its hard to believe Khloe who accepted responsibility for her problem was the only contestant ever to have this problem.

I am well aware personally of the havoc alcholism can wreak on families so its all well and good that Trump has a problem with it but if he is not going to do business with anyone who has had/does have/or is down that path I am pretty sure he is going to have to severely limit his business opportunities.

Well with Trump drooling over Brandi and every other blonde each week, and after this last episode, I will NEVER watch another show. I have better things to do with my time! Donald, you're fired! He has been officially removed from my TiVo!

And yet, not ONE of these contestants, either named or referred, has been serving a sentence for any alcohol-related crime at the same time they were appearing on the show.

But, that's what's so great about television, and choice. If you don't like the show, don't watch.

True I just wish the firings were related to the tasks - I guess that is why I preferred the no name version of this show better.

Still plan to watch though.

I thought the first challenge tonight was great. Everyone seemed to work together on the task. Both teams appeared to get along...a few bumps here and there but a nice job done in the end.

Sorry to see Brian go...I love him. I listen to him every morning on the WAVE here in L.A. :lovestruc

Now for the second challenge....MELISSA if you can hear me please, please SHUT UP..just SHUT UP. :headache::headache::headache: If Annie and Brandi want to be friends and you are NOT included...too bad BUT to spend all hour complaining about the two of them is just so childish. WHINER = MELISSA. :headache::headache: And for the record so is your mother. :headache: JOAN RIVERS = WHINER :headache:

Piers is back!!! :happytv:

I thought the whole thing with Annie and Brande on the second task, was sooooo bizarre and childish, they were acting so high school girlish, very weird for grown professional women to act like that.
very strange.

Actually, I can't understand why Joan & Melissa can't see through Annie's strategy. Annie is a poker player. yesn' she knows how to lie & bluff. She also knows how to calculate the odds. She knew quite well that Trump is not willing to give up the Bunny if he doesn't have to.

It is kind of creepy the way Trump's oogling over Brandi. I wonder if he has a Madonna/W**** complex. He used to go on & on about how beautiful his model, trophy wife is. But now that she's a mother, has he lost all interest in her and is hoping to score with Brandi?

It was soooo obvious that Trump didn't want to pick between Brandi or Melissa. He personally wants to keep Brandi and he knows Melissa is good drama, especially between her and her mom.

Brian was the easy scapegoat. Luckily, Brian has also become disenchanted and wanted out. So it worked out. :thumbsup2 Did Brian win any money for his charity?

As for Annie, I think she probably was beotching to Joan & Melissa the night before about Brandi. But when she got into the Boardroom and realised Trump wasn't going to fire Brandi, she traded in her cards and now has aligned herself with Brandi. If Brandi speaks up on her behalf in the Boardroom, she's made an ally. She may actually be thinking Trump may keep her around if it makes Brandi happy and he has a better in with Brandi. Yuck! :p

I love how Jesse said he's got big guns with money. Whereas everyone else is saying they can bring in $25,000 to $60,000 in, Jesse said he can make one call to Hollywood and bring in $1M. :lmao: I hope him waiting for his big chance doesn't backfire on him. I've seen other people wait and they ended up getting fired, so they should have pulled in the big guns. It does no good to save it and then not be able to use it at all.

I think they were deliberately messing with Melissa's head. Joan made a strategic mistake which Annie caught. When Joan said she was leaving too, if Melissa was wrongly fired, she let Annie know she could be gotten rid of, too. If Annie & Brandi can get rid of Melissa, then it may turn out to be a two-for-one deal. It's no wonder Annie & Brandi became so buddy-buddy.

Joan is just as spoiled as immature as her daughter. Both their egos are just insane. No amount of plastic surgery can fix the ugly that oozes from the inside.

I like Joan, but I would cringe if my mom felt she had to stick up for me all the time. I think Melissa can fight her own battles.

I'm sure Jesse won't be fired until his wife, Sandra Bullock, makes an appearance of some kind.

Trump oogling over the Playboy Playmate is embarassing. I don't think he has even mentioned his wife this season.

Poker player and playmate became "friends" to get Joan/Melissa po'ed. I would not be surprised if the producers encouraged it, as it makes for drama.

Oh, two more things: I think it really rattled Annie when Ivanka said that how she's been playing the game annoys her. Again, as a poker player who likes to figure out what everyone's hand is, she now knows Ivanka doesn't like her and will take her down. She also knows almost everyone in the room doesn't like her. Her only hope is to ally herself with Brandi who will sing her praises to Trump. This is especially important this task as it is for Ivanka's jewelry. Ivanka already doesn't like her. If she fails as Project manager, Ivanka will tear her up. Her only hope is Trump.

Second, if Joan loses, her biggest downfall will be because she let the golf chick choose the jewelry. What a fatal miscalculation that was. Here is Joan, the head of her own jewerly empire, knows what sells, what women want, how to sell it, and she let an amateur who knows nothing about jewelry pick the final items without even overseeing them for final approval before the selection. I knew immediately when Golf Chick said, "So I just pick out the cheapest jewelry?" that they were in trouble. :sad2:

However, if Joan's team loses, I think Golf Chick will go before Joan. Like Chloe, she's dead weight.

I thought last night's celebrity apprentice was the most boring episode. Half my family pretty much walked away from the television at the second half.

Wow, I paid more attention last night than all of the one previous. I had other things to do but I just couldn't stop watching
