The Celebrity Apprentice 2

WHAT:scared1:!!!!! Clint should've been fired!!! Donald was very rough on Khloe!

I said last week that Trump has very publicly said many times his own older brother died from alcoholism. Trump claims he never drinks alcohol because he's seen how it destroys. I can see how he would detest someone who he considers a spoiled brat getting behind the car & selfishly drinking & driving. I kind of saw it coming when he mentioned why she was gone last week.

But, yes, I think Clint should have gone this week. Trump's decision should have remained about the task.

Well now, how's that for an exciting ending.

Clint should have been fired.

It looked like Tionne was scared to talk to DT for the past three or four episodes.

I do remember that Bradford that DT was referring to.

I too hated both videos.

I personally know that little people don't like to be called midgets.

I'll check out the all-laundry.com for the other video that the Rivers made.

DT firing Khloe was a personal decision that had nothing to do with the failed task.

Wow, how could Donald fire Tionne? She did nothing wrong. I must admit I didn't like either videos tonight. Melissa's team should've left the profanity out at the end. They would've won and Tionne would've still been there. Clint was awful!!!
As soon as Trump mentioned Bradford, I knew what was coming - and I do feel badly for Tionne. Although... if Melissa hadn't stated that Tionne volunteered, but had simply chosen any two Athena members - it's likely she herself would have been fired instead, as she expected.

As for Clint - he was danged lucky that Trump mixed up the teams, and that Khloe has the DUI conviction and classes; otherwise, yes, he surely would have been the one fired from KOTU.

On the other hand, ignoring the captioning, KOTU's attempt at a viral video really wasn't porn at all, unless one considers the 'do it yourself' aspect to be. I mean, it WAS a husband and wife.

What might have made it more appealing to All's target audience would have been for the wife to have been the one with the punch line ;)

Same as with Dennis. He's also fired people for volunteering to come into the boardroom (Bradford, Tionne), for volunteering to go (Vinny Pastore), and other, non-task-specific reasons over the life of both shows.

I think Khloe being fired was personal, but she really didn't bring anything to the team - Clint and Joan were really the only ones from that team who shared their opinions - the girls were just sheep - whispering among themselves instead of putting it out there - and once they got on the bash Clint wagon, they stayed there. Clint was very arrogant tonight. I also liked Herschel's idea of the word bubbles, but the words stunk!

The captioning did relatively stink - but given that it was all created in just over an hour, I think Herschel gets a pass :teeth: and frankly, if Joan had tried presenting her ideas more calmly (like Herschel did), Clint MAY have listened. Then again, maybe not.

Clint just got that one idea in his head and he couldn't adapt, grow or change. I was really surprised at his narrow-mindedness and arrogance. He really didn't take in anyone else's ideas. He couldn't even see that the corporate heads were too much stuffed shirts to ultimately go for his idea.

I really did think he dissed Joan. His attitude of superiority was dreadful. The only smart move he made, other than allowing for the quote bubbles was NOT taking Joan into the boardroom as he knew she wasn't going to be fired and all she would do is point out all the ways he went wrong.

I have to agree that if Clint had taken Joan into the boardroom the outcome might have been different. But maybe not given that Donald appeared already decided to fire Khloe for the drunk driving issue. Clint and Joan together were just unbelieveable. She can be very abrasive and I think that he just didn't want to listen to her. Maybe if she were capable of expressing her ideas a little more tactfully. Although Clint was pretty closed minded once he got his idea for the video.

I hated both videos.

I agree that Clint should have been fired.

The whole Khloe thing made me uncomfortable. She did something incredibly stupid, got caught, and is now paying the price. I don't think it was necessary for Trump to air her business and call her out on it the way he did. Most likely he's done something stupid in his life that he regrets as well. It just seemed that the firing should have been about the task, not about her personal life. If that were the case, Dennis has done some pretty bad things in his life and he should have been gone weeks ago, If he had a problem with Khloe's DUI he should never have had her on the show in the first place. Then again, it's his show and he's going to do what he wants anyway.

I also don't think Tianne should have been fired, but I don't know who should have from that group. They all seemed to work hard and do a good job, so I guess it should have been Melissa in the end.

It also bothered me the way Trump was letting Melissa speak about Joan's team. WTH? Melissa wasn't even there, why should she have an opinion? I did think it was really funny when Joan said she was going to go home and throw out all Clint's CD's though! :lmao:

Trump actually said if he the producers had told him in advance of the show that hshe had a DUI, he wouldn't have had her on the show.

I was actually suprprised that a Kardashian was on the show to begin with. I know Trump is friends with the Hilton family, so he's been very diplomatic publicly to not bash Paris Hilton. But when you see how he and Ivanna Trump have raised Ivanka, Don Jr., and the other Trump kids to not just be spoiled rich kids, out partying, drinking & driving, like that is a cool thing to do, (and his own deceased brother an alcoholic,) I'm not surprised he didn't want to have on someone from that crowd on his show. He doesn't promote that partying lifestyle of the Kardashians and their BFFs, the Hilton sisters, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Ritchie, Britney, etc, pretty much ALL had DUIs. He's also owner of the Miss Universe Pageant. (Or own of those.) Again, he doesn't want to promote reckless drinking and driving for that demographic.)

As for Tionne, she won $20,000 last week for her charity. So she was pretty expendable. He likes to look at the former Playmate, so he's keeping her around. Anyone else notice, he seems to really go on and on about women's sexy looks? Like when he talked about that model in her lingerie. :p

And Trump knows that Melissa will create more TV drama for the show... although he really may have fired her last nite, if they hadn't mentioned Tionne had volunteered to come.

I think he had to keep Joan and Clint - their friction helps the ratings!

I think Clint was very close minded as the project manager, but Brian was even worse when he had the assignment. Luckily, his team won that one.

I like Herschel -although sometimes I don't understand what he's saying! I think either Clint or Brian may be the next guys to go - I could see both of them clashing with Joan - Jesse and Herschel both easily fly "under the radar" so as long as they're not brought into the board room, they're safe. I think the golfer or the bunny will be the next of the girls to go - they both seem to do whatever the group is doing. Brian will be on the team with Melissa and Jesse next week.

I have always liked Clint but not so much on this show, he really seems to suck.

I think Trump will keep the playmate around for quit a while he seems to have a thing for her, she certainly hasn't been stand out material so far but keeps hanging in there and getting much praise from Tump.

I was suprised that he fired Tionne but not sad, she seems to be laid back and just going with the flow, not really much of a leader.

I don't really know who Khloe is and thought the whole time she has been kind of just floating along so no big loss, even though to fire her that way was just not that right, it shouldn't have been so personal in a game like this one.

I could see Melissa winning this she is a pretty good leader in so many task, even though to look at her is painful. And to be honest I have never thought Joan was all that funny, just stupid, have never really liked her so I can't really give a clear opinon on her, even though she does seem like a hard worker. The poker player is good just gets on my nerves so bad that I can't see pass it.

I like Jesse a lot and would be thrilled if he won it or Hersely??

The videos to me were just horrible, I would have clicked out on both of them and not watched either. Clint looked just plain creepy! And people may find little people funny but to me it's just plain rude to make fun of things that people can't help in life, so someone is short..hahaha how stupid!

Hey Judy, GREAT summary!! ITA!! :goodvibes

My DSon asked the same thing last night while watching CA...who is Khloe?
****Khloe's dad was Robert Kardashian and he was OJ Simpson's atty for his trial. They were very good friends Kardashians and the Simpsons. When OJ was accused of murder, Robert became his atty. After the trial was over, years later, as Robert is dying of cancer, he came forward and said he always throught that OJ was guilty. Khloe's mom is Chris Jenner. She is married to the Olympic star Bruce Jenner. They have been married for a very long time. They also have a reality tv show called Keeping Up with the Kardashian's. Khloe and her sister's own several boutiques in the LA area. And yes, Khloe was home last week tending to her DUI. :headache:

Wow, what a night! Both Chloe and Tione has won their $20,000 so they are expendable as someone else posted. I did like Tione and was sorry to see her go.

My husband commented last night that Trump is looking for ratings and that is why the firing went the way it did last night. I didn't care for either commercial but if Athena had left off the cussing at the end, they would have wond.

My husband also told me that if he had been the one to make the commercial, he would have put a very buff construction worker without a shirt at the washing machine and some little kids in dirty clothes running around. He thought that the guy would be some eye candy for the target group they were trying to hit and be something that the 25+ women would be more inclined to look at.
