With the holidays approaching, will they move or remove the celebrate thing and put up the Pumpkin and later the Christmas tree? Celebrate is supposed to be for the whole year but I would really miss the huge Jack 'O Lantern and the Christmas tree.

This is a question I have wondered since the beginning of this year. I mean, for sure, they will have the huge Mickey pumpkin and the enormous Christmas tree - there is no doubt about that - but I wondered if they would keep the balloon display somewhere else near the front or just remove it when the holidays approach. I also wondered what they would do with the Celebration Round-Up BBQ if they change over to Woody's Halloween Round-Up and Santa's Reindeer Round-Up.

i doubt they will change it to Woody's Haloween Round-Up or Santa's Reindeer Round-Up.

BUT they may put it in a corner on the ranch... but minimally for Disney reasons.

Oooooh...really, Albort? You don't think you guys will do the Halloween Round-Up and Christmas Round-Up this year? Is the Celebration BBQ only in place for 2009 or is ist supposed to continue on after 2009?

This is very interesting, indeed! This means Santa would likely have to go and sit somewhere else in DL, right? Last year he was gone from DCA altogether, and if the Reindeer Round-Up is gone, then that would only leave him to the 3 hotels....unless, as you say, they put him/the Round-Up in a corner somewhere.

hmm, considered that it makes SOME money, i doubt it will close very soon for something that doesnt quite make money...

But you heard it from someone else... not me. :D

well, maybe at DCA if contruction doesnt effect the sunplaza. Im sure they will find a place for him... somewhere... like maybe pooh's corner?

We didn't hear a thing from you!:) I kind of suspected that the BBQ may stick around past 2009.

Yes, they have to put poor Santa somewhere for photo ops in one of the parks! Pooh's Corner would be interesting. Or they could have a nice Creole Santa somewhere in New Orleans Square, handing out beads!:lmao::lmao:

New Orleans Square is too jammed up. IT needs a quite a big opening space to file the line. the only place i can think of is maybe the esplanade. Would be pretty interesting this year to see.

though, an interesting idea would be to put it in the hotel room in Disneyland. Using the rooms as queues with the main room for pictures.

That is a good question...I wonder where they'll stash him. I am guessing they'll make room where he was last year...just can't see him fitting anywhere else.

OHH how about transforming Tom Sawyers Island to Christmas Island and putting him over by the treasure chest? That would be cool, and PLENTY of room :santa:

Maybe they can put Santa and the reindeer next to the Channukah menorah. Oh wait..... guess not.
