You would have scared me for sure! I agree with Sophy1996. Cruella has always been very scary to me! That's probably why it has been so long since I've watched the movie.

To make up for missing yesterday, I'm going to feature a whole litter of kitties by sticking with the Aristocats.

In addition to the previously featured Toulouse, the Aristocats also features his mom Duchess, his sister Marie, and his brother Berlioz. This is a very well-off family of cats living in the mansion of a retired opera singer. Duchess is refined and elegant. Marie is beautiful and prissy. Berlioz is quiet, mischievous, and easily annoyed.

The family finds themselves in danger, and they are befriended by Thomas O'Malley the Alley Cat who introduces them to Scat Cat and his jazz band.

Thomas O'Malley is a smooth-talking, street wise cat with a heart of gold (reminds me a lot of Tramp from Lady and the Tramp) who quickly bonds with the kittens.


Scat Cat and his band prove to be loyal friends to Duchess and her kittens.

Toulouse is my favorite Disney cat. I love the Aristocats.

I’m adding 180 minutes for the month so far. Mostly walking, a little stationary bike action too.

Our next cat is so famous he has both a quick service location (Cheshire Cafe) and a pastry (Cheshire Cat Tail) named after him in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland. But you probably know him from Disney's 1951 animated film Alice in Wonderland. This purple and pink cat is mysterious and mischievous and always has a smile on his face. Sterling Holloway was the original voice of this colorful cat. Holloway also voiced Winnie the Pooh and Kaa. Since the original film, the Cheshire Cat has been spotted in several House of Mouse episodes, the film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, various video games, and the short-lived tv series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

It's still somewhat early in the day and we already have two more color changes. Piglet1979 put minutes on the board and jumped straight to Bouncy Blue, and her minutes also pushed our TEAM to Outspoken Orange! Great job!

Next up is Lucifer from Disney's 1950 animated classic Cinderella. "Lucifer is an extremely spoiled, hateful, pompous, sour and gluttonous cat. His only loyalty lies with that of his mistress Lady Tremaine, who treats him like royalty and acts as his mother figure because she puts a roof over his head. He is hostile towards Cinderella, constantly trying to sabotage her plans and get her into trouble, with the only apparent motive for making her life harder and more miserable, showing he doesn't, even the slightest, appreciate Cinderella's kind and caring nature. He even seems to dislike Drizella and Anastasia, evidenced by his scowling and covering his ears when the two are bickering over trivial things. Lucifer is also very ambitious and ruthless, going to any lengths to kill the mice that are Cinderella's allies, and is sneaky enough to play the victim when he got Bruno in trouble and manipulated Cinderella into sending him outside.

Lucifer was largely created for comic relief. Ward Kimball, one of the animators, imagined and was responsible for the comedic subplot of the cat-and-mouse chase scenes between Lucifer vs. Jaq and Gus and the other mice. His design was largely inspired by a pet cat belonging to Kimball himself who had six toes. When Walt Disney came to Kimball's home (Who was having a rough time finding out how to model Lucifer), upon meeting his cat, Walt told Kimball, there he had the cat inspiration. "

Trivia: In early versions of the script, Lucifer was Cinderella's cat rather than Lady Tremaine's.
