The "catch" to DVC

I care about holding our DD3 during Wishes with tears rolling down my face (we adopted DD3 after our solo anniversary trip in 2006 - she was our wish the final night of the trip and it came true). I care about the trip that me, DW, and DD3 are going to in December so we can see Disney World decorated for Christmas. And I care about the trip we'll take in 2011 to Disney World on DD3's birthday on Halloween.

The memories are what is going to matter. Not how much I paid for it.

Awesome! So true! I have a wonderful husband who happens to be a workaholic. That is just how he is. So for me, buying into DVC was an insurance policy that we will get to take our DD3 on many years of trips to WDW. My DH didn't want to go the first time (it's a kids place, he kept saying), but reluctantly agreed when DD was almost 2. Now he loves it and when I told him I wanted to buy into DVC, he agreed. Now, he no longer bats an eye when I mention our next trip being planned--after all, he's frugal, so we can't waste points!

Must address this! Sorry! Gotta do it.

This topic kind of reminds me of that lady who sued McDonalds for not warning her the coffee was hot.

The lady didn't sue b/c her coffee was hot. The lady won because she had a good case.

The "hot" coffee caused third degree burns to the elderly woman's legs and groin area. She had to have *skin grafts*. She was righteously injured by a product that was LONG known to be kept at a temperature that was FAR too high, there had been many injuries and complaints before, and she won because her case was a good one.

Afterwards McD put that wording on their lids, but they also *lowered the temperature* that they were keeping their coffee at. They were absolutely in the wrong.

Coffee should not be kept at such a temperature that a person needs skin grafts when it is spilled on them.
