We want to make a return trip to Disney this year, just a long weekend, but I'm confused...Is the castle all lit up in the "Christmas Style" in the evenings or only for the MVMCP? We're looking at Dec. 4-6, but won't be able to squeeze in tix for the party this year. I REALLY want to see the castle all done up, but don't know if I'll be able to.

Also, should we choose Epcot to see the Candlelight Processional or DHS for the Osborne Lights? It'll be my husband & I and our 3 year old. When we did our WDW trip a couple weeks ago, we didn't to see a lot of Epcot, but when we did DHS, we felt we saw pretty much all we wanted (except the Backlot Tour because it was being refurbished) and my son LOVES Playhouse Disney. We're leaning towards Epcot, but can't decide. THANKS!!

Yes, the Castle is lit up every night at dusk for everyone one to enjoy! I do not recommend the MVMcP though. It was soooooo crowded it was not enjoyable. Save your fifty bucks a person for another event or a nice dinner:)

We really enjoyed the Osbourne lights. Even our four year old and one year old loved it. I don't think my kids would have wanted to see or stay seated for the Candlelight Processional. We will wait a few years for that one.

When we were there last December it was not too crowded at the parks, but the special events and weekends were a different story. Also, we all got that horrible stomach thing!!! My DD got it when we were there and we got it when we returned. It was unfortunate, but we won't be traveling that time of year anytime soon again! The parks were beautifully done up though and the trees and resorts were awesome!

Yes, the castle is lit up every night. I really wanted to see the lighting ceremony, but we were never around the castle at the right time - I hear that's pretty cool. For a 3yo - definitely Osbourne Lights!

We went from the 13th to the 17th last year last year & LOVED it! We did do MVMCP for the first time & thoroughly enjoyed it! They served up hot coca, sugar cookies, apple juice & apple slices at designated locations throughout the park. And yes, they do light up the castle & what a sight that is to see! Have fun!

The castle is worth the trip alone!! We went for the first time at Chistmas last year at the same time you are looking at and the crowds were not bad and the castle.....AMAZING! I could just stand and look at it all night. I know that's kinda corney!! Definatly do the Osborne lights, they are so cool! My DS-8 and DD-2 loved them, we went 2x to see them. I don't know if I could sit through the Candlelight Processional, even though it was neat what I saw of it.

Oh I can't wait to see the castle!!! The osborne lights are going to be awesome too!!! Is it December yet???? :santa:
