Can't remember the name all of a sudden, lol! Is it a good show? Dh is pretty excited, but I'm afraid he's going to think it is lame. How long is the show? Would it be fun for a little boy who loves cars?

Thanks

Shel

Lights! Motors! Action! ....the exclamation points are very important :rotfl:

My DS5 loved it (car mad), thought it was very exciting. There was a fair bit of waiting for the show to start, but it's worth getting there when your FP says to get a good seat. The stand-by line doesn't always have access to the closer seats, but it depends on how busy it is. I think the show was about 20/30 minutes. I know that there are plenty on the board who think it is a bit lame, but my DH thought it was really good. We tend to not repeat shows every year, but this one we will make sure to see each visit.

Lights. Motors, ACTION !!!

It is an incredible show... it runs about 1/2 hr, real exciting, really fun to watch, Even my 2yo LOVED it, he is really into cars...

I suggest you get a SPEEDPASS... no question... you just have to walk to the entry gate and a CM will hand you passes for your party... The standby line is HUGE and does not move... you will not regret it !

We saw the show in Paris, and it's perfect for a little boy who likes cars. There's even a very humorous bit near the end. In Paris they choose an adult participant from the audience, but I've heard at Disney-MGM the participant is a youngster.

DH and I found it a little boring...I think I learned too much about how things happen instead of actually seeing a lot of great driving (it was great driving, but it's not always as cool as it looks when you learn some things). It was too hot to sit there for that long for a show that we didn't really like. On the other hand, my parents and grandparents went a while back and saw it and they all liked it.

Lights motors action lasted about 45 minutes. Get the fast pass - get first crack in and don't have to wait in a long line. The scenes were cool - but a lot of down time like Indiana Jones. When the stunts are going a lot of excitement.

I'm normally the first person to say that things are overhyped at disney.

I have NO interest in cars, or stunts really. However, i was really impressed by the show. the end is awesome too! I really think he'll enjoy it. Not to spoil too much but tell him there's lots of speed, and fire.

I will say this.........watching those guys drive those cars is something to behold. It will make even the most bored look on in awe.

Someone posted it bored them..........that's fine, but I seriously doubt that will be mosts opinion.

My dad went for the first time to Disney in July with us and that was BY FAR his favorite attraction. He said it made his entire MGM admission worth it.

We saw it at Disneyland Paris back in April. Knowing that it would soon be coming to WDW, we really wanted to see it. We really enjoyed it. I don't think it was lame at all and it gave some insight into how they do some of the stunts they do in the movies.

we really enjoyed it. Lots of action and then they show you how it was done.

goes to show you we all are different.

We went a couple of weeks ago....ds12 thought it was good but wouldn't see it again. I was bored but I was also very hot, dh thought it was good but once was enough.
