The Cape Cod Meet Summary thread! Updated with Pictures!

I really wanted to be there this year. Had to miss this wonderful meet again, though.

Many thanks to Alex and his family for a lovely day at their house. We met some super people and our kids are already asking when we get to go back!

gail,. it was wonderful meeting you and your family, thank you for making the trip yesterday.
I am amazed each time there is a meet, how well the kids get along...it is just a constant source of amazement for me.
Maybe we will get that winter meet in this year and be able to do this all over again!

We are ready for another round in a few hours...I just love these meets!

On the left is Tink 30, her DH's nephew and her DH. The nephew was a wonderful help with the kids!

The kids spent a TON of time in the pool!

PatrickIL and Snowwark's DH John are both into construction, here they are having a very deep and meaningfull discussion.

I'm not sure what Patrick was telling Paras4ri DH here but obviously there were some strong reactions!

The burgers got rave reviews and I promised everyone I would post the recipe so here it is on the recipe and scrapbook board

The recipe

The recipe came from a cookbook that Snowwark gave me at last years meet! It's a Canadian TV personality that has a show called Cottage Country.

Later in the evening we all watched a special video that Barry had sent with a summary of the Boston dis meets, patrick con and riddle con as well as Discon 2. Great Job Barry!


One interesting note...... when I was giving directions to Paras4ri she said she knew the area, she went to camp here as a girl. It turns out she went to SAME camp as my DD... I won't say how many years ago! She brought a flag and some pictures from HER camp days!
