This was put on hold some time ago I talked to a CM friend of mine and they had worked on shooting the project then took the money and put it into other areas I have a post about this on the boards allready. I will find it and post it up.

That's to bad because the Canadian Pavilion does need a new video because the one they have is way to old and needs to be updated.

Epcot Canada Pavilion and American Adventure rumors
We've heard that a new movie will be going into the Canada Pavilion in the Fall. The 14 minute movie will star Martin Short and feature a new recording, by the Canadian Idol winner, of the song Canada currently heard in the Pavilion. We've also heard an updated closing montage in American Adventure will be starting any day now.

That was the film info I had recieved nothing about the Canadian Idol winner but the update. This was the update that was shelved for the foreseeable future.

That saddens me a bit cause I loved that movie. I worked there years ago and would go in and watch it whenever I was homesick. I do recognize that it must be dated, but hopefully I can see it one last time!!

The official Walt Disney World operational calendar now lists O Canada! as going down for rehab from 8/20/07 to 8/24/07 which means that the new film may premier on August 25th.

I sure hope so!! We are arriving on aug 26th and it sure would be nice to see an 'updated' Canada movie!
