Wow! That will be great if we can get the Ultralight model!!! Thanks so much for checking in to that today! I would love to be able to order this ASAP in the morning so we can get everything in.

Here is where we are with the funds...

I've rec'd 11 pymts via paypal so that's $156.86 ($15 each less the .74 cents each for paypal fees) plus my contribution of $15 puts us at $171.86. I'm guessing the total on all the items listed will be about $300 with tax.

So if you haven't paid and are still planning to participate if at all possible get me the money today or tomorrow morning. Or if you are waiting until Friday to pay PM me so I know who is committed. Or if plans have changed and you aren't needing the stroller, let us know so we can open the dates up to someone else.

I went out and looked at Amazon.com to add everything to my cart so all I need to do is checkout once the $ is in....and realized that the next day shipping is not included in the free shipping...go figure. The free shipping takes 5 - 9 business days....so I've got to order this ASAP b/c we actually leave town on the 5th to visit family before we head over to Disney...so that gives me 9 business days...yikes...I don't like cutting things so close!!!!

Also...the stroller bag didn't have free shipping but the stroller and rain guard do so there will be some shipping fee...just couldn't tell exactly what it was.

And...lastly...the only color that is available for the $199 is red...which I think will still work since it is a bright color.

A red stroller certainly will stand out, as will the blue stroller bag! If memory serves me correctly, I think the shipping was 9.80.

Sorry that I'm late to join in the game, but I just found this thread today.
Our trip is from Aug.17-Aug 19 and it seems my dates are available, I was just wondering how long it would be available on the 19th for, because it appears the next person needs it on the 19th too. I don't mind joining in the swap for a short time, I just was hoping to get the 3 days worth of using the stroller.

Could someone please help me out?

The stroller looks great and red will work perfectly. My only question...does this stroller also include the coversion piece that allows for an infant seat? It doesn't matter to me as I have 4 year olds, but I just wanted to verify that it does in case someone else needs to use it with the infant seat. (It didn't show in the pictures).

I'm not really concerned with damage as much as loss or theft, as we will be using the stroller for only 4 months. If everyone uses common sense, everyone in the swap should be getting a great stroller until the end (NO PUSHING 12 YEAR OLDS!)
I will be providing everyone will my cell phone number before they leave, so you can call me in case of a problem.

Thanks for putting into perspective. Only 4 months. Even if it's used hard every day, it's still only 4 months. I hadn't thought of that. My strollers have taken a beating and kept working! So, in 4 months, if we're all careful, it should be fine.

I also know that the second time Scot took our oldest out for a walk with our brand new stroller, a back wheel flew right off! Graco replaced it, but it took awhile to get the part. Just curious.

Do you mean theft by one of the swap members, or just random theft in the parks? I hope no one in the swap would make off with the stroller!

I'm going to make the paypal transfer soon. I would prefer the lighter one, so hopefully all the money will come in! And I love red!

well i think the stroller sholuld be fine how many times have u gone to disney and used your stroller without a lock .. how many of times have we done to disney and nothing has happen ( WE go to like once a week to disneyland and we never have had that problem) i have never seen a stroller with a lock ( that might be hassle) i think if u used it wisely and dont leave to many belongling in the stroller when ur at attractions it will lesslikely to be touched or even stollen but i hope we do get light weight stroller just thinking about those buses and thinking gee i wish this stroller was smaller cause they do get a little crowed so hopefully everyone can pay as soon as possiable so we cant get it But i will do what the group wants and i believe in the magic of disney and always hope for the best vanessa

Ok...so here is the deal....I just went on Amazon to order everything and the stroller is no longer $199... up to $269. I called Amazon to see if I could get the price from yesterday, but they won't offer that price now.


So...I guess our choices are 1) back to the original stroller....2) there is one that is $229...it's camouflage though...not a color I would normally pick...especially for my 2 girls...but whatever.

I plan to order tonight....we are up to about $215 as of this afternoon so I've got the stroller covered.

Just let me know how everyone wants to go...the original orange or the ultralight in camo.

I'm still doing some internet searches to see if I can find any other offers....

Another option is ebay...I found a new one on there with free shipping...it's a red one and it's $260 buy it now plus it looks like ebay is offering 10% off if I read the front banner correctly. So that would be $234 and it's 2 day shipping...

Too bad! We missed the deal! I think the ultralight is better because 1) less heavy 2) might fit into the stroller bag (can't find any bag would fit the standard stroller). It's only for a vacation, not that we would keep it everyday, right?

It doesn't matter to me which one we get, but I do think the ultralight would be more convenient. It is difficult to lug a stroller on the busses at the end of the day!!!

I will be happy with either one. I like the orange color better but the lightweight better....6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other. I'm thrilled to be using a great stroller for $15. How can anyone complain for $15!
