The "bronzed" Goofy statue by Tony's Town Square

There used to be a bronzed like statue of Goofy on the bench by Tony's. My kids used to get their pic by it every year. It was kind of cool seeing them grow up. Well, last year it was gone because there was construction. But when we went a few weeks ago, it wasn't back. Anyone have any info?

One CM had no idea what we were talking about - the other said that he wasn't sure when or if it was coming back. He mentioned to my DH that it must be in rehab. I'll be there this weekend looking for it again. Really miss it!

I have this picture as part of my screen-saver slide show. It's not my picture, and it's not a recent picture. Probably Christmas-time a few years ago. I hope Goofy returns. Seems funny without him there.

When we were there in May, my DD8 was looking for it (she has the Disney Secrets book and knew it would talk if you listened carefully), all week long we searched for this thing and could not find it. Finally I asked a CM and he said that they removed it for the construction and while it was away, they were fixing it because that "Special touch" hadn't worked in awhile. I am hoping it will return for our trip in January, because DD was really bummed about it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Whoops! Well, that is good to hear, because I hadn't seen him last time we went.

He was there in December. I distinctly remember pointing him out to my boyfriend and telling him about the time I saw a little boy feeding his lollipop to Goofy. One of my favorite things I've ever witnessed in the MK.
