If all goes well with vaccinating everyone, the NY Governor is hopeful that Broadway can be reopened in June 2021.
Hamilton has announced they are hopefully planning to reopen on July 4th.
Many other Broadway shows may delay reopening until the fall, as they really need packed houses to be viable.

Performances are done by various Broadway casts, in one of the streets in NYC, as outdoors is much safer than indoors. And probably the whole cast and crew have been COVID tested before gathering together.
Donations during the broadcast will benefit Broadway Cares to help provide groceries, medication, health care, and emergency financial assistance to those in the Broadway community who are struggling through the pandemic that threatens their health and will have shuttered the industry for more than a year. I saw that too. I loved her in the 1982 movie Annie. That is the one I grew up on!
If things ever get back to "normal" again at DLR, check to see if Aileen Quinn is playing in DTD. She used to play there with her band The Leapin' Lizards on the Main Stage by Earl of Sandwich. Fun times!
