The Brag Thread...

I have a very hot wife who is a wonderful mother, lady, friend and person. She plays the house wife role by day and va va vroom at night! ;)

I look at her sometimes and think how in the hell did I land such a great looking lady. My brother always tells me he is jealous. :))

My brag that most people don't care about but we think it's pretty darn cool is that my son who just turned 2 can tell you the maker of any car! He'll walk in a parking lot and go down the aisle telling you what each car is, like Toyota or Volkswagon or Buick or BMW. He knows almost every single car maker.

Anyway, it's a weird brag but we are amazed by it.

I am brilliant. ;) And so are my kids. ;) My husband - not so much.

My DH of 20 years just swept me off my feet again!! The night before our anniversary, in a restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed again and gave me a new engagement ring!! Then, woke me up early on our anniversary date to tell me that we were eloping!! We ended up renewing our vows in Pennsylvania, and spending a night in the Champagne Towers in one of those honeymoon resorts!! :cool1: He is so amazing!! Everything was a complete surprise to me!!
Can't have any "headaches" for a long time now!! ;)

Wow, what a great hubby! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! pixiedust:

I'm proud of myself because I got another raise (4th in two years) and am going on salary as opposed to hourly. I'm the first in 8 years to be put on salary and my coworker who has worked here for 6 years has only had one raise. I can't brag at work so I'll brag here! :teeth:

My mentally challenged, developmentally disabled, whatever they call it these days...my mentally ******** brother who lives with me can tell you almost anything about dates, what day of the week it was in a certain year, what event happened, and he especially likes to tell you who's birthday it is/was, celebrity and people he's met. In fact, when he meets someone he HAS to ask their birthday and then he remembers it FOREVER. Today is Carolyn's birthday, we met her at Caesars' in Vegas in 1999! :rotfl:

DS #2 just called from Penn State -- not only did he do amazingly well on the Dental Aptitude Test (better than 98.6% of all applicants), he just got his first interview at a dental school (NYU) !

And DS#1 is in the Masters in Social Work program at the University of Kentucky while continuing to work part-time as a co-ordinator of adolescent care.

Proud Mom brag!

Ok, you asked for it:

I live right next door to WDW and go there frequently. Next week we are having dinner at Ohana.

Thank God for this this thread!! I'd feel guilty posting on the "What are you doing this weekend?" threads.

That's why I started it...to ease the guilt :).

My new one....DH works at Nintendo so we get really awesome seats to sporting events. We've had courtside seats at the sonics (very front, no one blocking the view) you can see the players sweat and feel the vibrations from the ball. They give you a special parking spot and a special entrance and a special bathroom and free treats.

For the mariners, we get the seats directly behind the dugout.

I hate telling people about it cuz I sound like I'm bragging, but mostly I'm just amazed at how lucky we are.

How'd he do?

I'm almost 34 years old and I can still do the splits!
Oh yeah, and loving DH, wonderful DSs, great career, blah, blah, blah...

Awesome congrats to everyone...I am jealous over the split thing..then again was never able to do one in the first place . LOL

I have to brag to someone...my older DD(age 20-i also have one almost 4) just got a promotion for the clothing store she works for out in CALI. Womens dept manager, which equates to 2nd asst. kinda, along with a $6,000$ raise per year. Asked her if we could come live with her since she is so rich now. lol She is the youngest person with that position for the whole company. Geez tho, she has lived out there for a month now and hasnt been to DL yet. "I would rather go to like one of those other parks with non kiddy rides,",,hmmmpff-where did I go wrong? LOL ANyway, congrats to her. So very proud.

My family and I will go to WDW twice in Nov. Once for the Food and Wine festival and once for the Candle Light/our 20yr/Osbourne lights. We will stay at the Yatch Club for the first and WLV for the second. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
