OK, I just made an observation I had to share...
A couple of weeks ago, Caitlin fell in PE and fractured the growth plate in her ankle. Of course, this happened right before we left for Yosemite for a little Spring Break trip. The doctor got her set up with a soft cast and a walking boot so she could at least get herself around on the trip. Once we got over the shock, we simply started calling her contraption THE BOOT. In the two weeks she wore it, THE BOOT was the center of many a conversation and easily became a natural reference.
It was not until I went in to the PodCast main page tonight that I realized WHY we found this reference so easy....BOB and his BOOT! Of course! Really, we slipped into references to THE BOOT as if she had always had one and now I know it is because we are so used to Bob's references to THE BOOT.
Yet another way that Bob has lived on in our hearts and minds.
