My mom grew up in an Italian neighbourhood in Queens (she isn't Italian, but whatever) and she knew who was *family*. We live an hour or so north of the city now, but I can still go into an Italian restaurant and pick out who's *family*. I guess it's just something we take for granted up here.

Um, okay, I'm going to be honest here. After seeing one to many episodes of The Sopranos, I don't think I would have called the cops.

Like Java said, this is South Jersey. I wouldn't want it coming back on me that the reason this person got busted was because I called the cops. I think I would have just deleted the message and tried to forget about it.

Maybe that makes me sound like a horrible person, but this mob stuff is real and they are no joke. I wouldn't want them messing with me or my family.

OP, I'm not trying to scare you or anything. There are just a few groups of people I wouldn't want to tangle with and the mob would be one of them.

Okay...well since I'm near the Pines....it defin. wouldn't be a "mob hit"....to dirty, those Bruno's might get dirty.....now if you said it was a Piney hit....I'd believe it.

And you have to be from NJ to know what a Piney is....kinda like, you might be a redneck if....

Also, the Pines are sooooooo big....there are probably hundreds of bodies there.

Very scary and sad.

However, let's say that this phone message was not a joke, would the people that left the messsage really wait this long before alerting whoever was supposed to get the message that "the body was in the woods". This news story was from May 4th..

I agree that is Anyway, since the hotel was in another township,
they turned it over to that police dept. This week I am going to see if I
