We still have an answering machine. Why pay a monthly fee when you don't have to? Monthly fees for things we used to get for free is what is making everyone broke. Remember free tv & water from your well? Now everyone has monthly fees for cable, cell phones, water company, sewer, bottle water, trash pickup........ Its how they get you. Don't fall for new & improved all the time.

Any word on what the police have found out? I live in South Jersey and haven't heard about any "body" being found in the Pine Barrens lately.

I'm thinking this will be another great DIS mystery. I don't think the police will ever bother to contact the OP again, and if she contacts them, they'll probably tell her "it's a police matter" and "they're handling it". Once you report something, I don't think the police have any obligation to follow up, unfortunately for us.
