The Boathouse-group of 12

We have a party of 12 going to Disney in June. I called and the boathouse doesn't take reservations for parties of 12 but said we can walk up and try the bar or dock area. Has anyone had any success with seating large parties here? Thanks!

Most Disney restaurants don't book for groups that large. You could try booking to separate reservations for the same time, though. If you check in early and ask them if they can put you together/near one another a lot of restaurants will try to accommodate.

If it's essential that you be seated together, there are restaurants that take larger groups. Biergarten, Hoop Dee Doo, and O'hana are just a few I know will take larger parties.

You can try 407-WDW-DINE, but if its a hard to get location you may lose out because you'll be in on hold for awhile. I agree with the above response, book as close togehter as you can then see if they help bring them together. I'd show up extra early, maybe even a few hours before and see if they can help. IMHO Disney has made extra hard for groups.
