I believe mug refills are available at the following: Leaping Horse Libations, Seashore Sweets, and the Boardwalk Bakery.Ok, so we check in at BWI on Jan 7, where do we go to get our refillable mugs and get a quick bite of breakfast before heading to the MK?
The closest breakfast choices would be Kouzzina's, the BWB and Bellevue Lounge serves a basic continental breakfast starting at 0630. I've read that it's lovely and has a veranda that overlooks the BW.
Oh, I can relateHello! Well, I can't believe I'm on the BWI thread. Yes, I'm one of those EX- I'll-never-stay-at-the-clown-pool-place. But after seeing how COOL the slide is, I think I can avoid looking at the clown
Anyway, I am planning a WDW trip for next summer. I am tentatively looking at 6 nights at a moderate and 3 nights at a 1 bdr villa. We've stayed at VWL and LOVED the room (WL was just ok though) and we'd like to try a resort we have never stayed at. BWI fits the bill with access to Epcot to boot!
I know this is the BWI thread but there doesn't seem to be a villas at BWI thread but I'm sure you can answer all my questions about location and food and such!
Just wanted to say Hi for now and will follow along. I'm sure I'll be asking you guys questions soon![]()

I know what you mean, Sheila, they always seem to change or take away something we like. Lots of tweaking going on at WDWI saw that too,the pics I saw looked great. We have a breakfast ADR for our last morning but that is not till March, with my luck they will change the menu again by then.

We stayed at WL last Christmas and I was really worried about being at WDW during the busiest time of the year. But, I planned carefully and everything worked out just fine.Hi to my fellow BWI fans!
I will be staying at the BWI, for the 3rd time, over Christmas. Since I usually go to Disney in the summertime, I don't know what to expect at this time of the year. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated.
The key is to try and enjoy the resort amenities as much as you can and not make the parks your focus. If possible, at least don't make the MK your focus, it's the most popular park at Christmas. In fact, it reaches capacity and closes to the GP every year on Christmas. It will sometimes re-open to the GP later, but you really want to avoid it. Also, avoid the park with EMH - they tend to be busier. If you can, avoid the MK Fri. - Mon., it's busiest those days around holidays.
If you can book recreation or tours on peak park attendance days, that will assure you an activity that you won't even have to wait in line for. Make sure you have all your ADRs and/or eat at the QS's during non-peak times such as before 11:30 and between 2-4. To encourage this, last year they offered coupons for 30% off (or was it 25%?) QS's during non-peak hours. I printed them up at home, but they were also distributing them in the parks. And when everyone else is watching the parades, go on the rides!
