This past summer, I was always chilly in the WL lounge so I bought a WL jacket and wore that in there (I love that jacket:)). Sounds like I might need a BWI jacket, too;)
I noticed on my recent trip that the AC all over the world including busses wasn't as cold. As Clare had mentioned it was cool for a few days but even when it got back up into the 80s things didn't seem as cold. I'm not complaining. I particularly noticed this at Sci Fi where I am always frozen by the time I'm done with my meal but it was quite comfortable this trip. The halls at BWI were probably the coldest of any place at WDW.

The gummy fish are still there :) unfortunately just not every day :sad1:
I guess I missed them.

My grandchildren love the Swedish Fish. They ask for them all the time and a cast member gets them some from the back.
I should have asked. I'll have to bring a child with me next time and make them ask.

Here's a link to new photos and a video of the making of the 2011 BWI Gingerbread House featuring Stitch:

Very cool! I must have just missed it.

Thanks for posting that link.
You're welcome, BWIF4L.

That's just fine with me since I always feel chilled inside at WDW. Last August, we got caught in a downpour and were soaked, we then stood in line inside for a ride and everyone was shivering - including me. Of course, those Friendship Boats are always too hot - I can't be pleased:rolleyes1

I sure hope it is still up when we check in on Jan 7th
Well, they usually start taking down the decorations the first Monday after NYD which would be 1-2. But, maybe they'll take them down a week later which would be 1-9 and then you'll get to see them in person:thumbsup2

So cool!! Thanks for posting! We saw them making one of the Stitch's at the Boardwalk Bakery when we were there 11/8-11/13! I had no idea what they were making it for... now I know!
You're welcome, DisMomAmy. I always think of the Poly being associated with Stitch, so I was surprised when he was featured at BWI.

A very HAPPY AND SAFE THANKSGIVING!! Don't forget to count your blessings (and the time you have left until your next trip to WDW;))

So I just switched my April reservation to BWI CL, any thoughts on room requests I should make. I will add that we are coming with 5 young kids. There isn't a specific bookable CL view, I just would like something "quieter" for my DD. Would garden view be the best? TIA....I have lots of updating to do on this resort :goodvibes

We had a fantastic view from our BWI CL room -- it was courtyard with a view of the Eiffel Tower, so we could watch Illuminations from our balcony. It was really quiet & peaceful (except during the fireworks, of course). We really loved it, and I would ask for this type view again. If this appeals to you, just ask for a room overlooking the courtyard with a view of the Eiffel Tower.

Here's the view straight ahead from our room:

And here are the fireworks & Eiffel Tower:

Just the courtyard view looks so peaceful. Thank you! I hoping this trip will be great. Our first BWI stay then over to GF :cloud9:

Hello pas130, and welcome! You switched! :) We love BWI CL! And I have to say that our view from our BWI room in August was my favorite view of any Disney resort so far! We requested a Boardwalk view, and it was wonderful. Not too loud, peaceful in the morning, and so close to the water. Here are a few photos:
