Who hoo! Love, LOVE, LOOOOVVVEEE the pics!

Allearsnet has a request on their site for updated GS pictures if you'd like to share with them....

Thanks for posting!

My husband just suprised me for our anniversary! We're going to stay at the BWI! He booked a water view room. On the disney site and on the first page of this thread, I get the impression that the water view will be a view of the boardwalk/cresent lake. Is this true? We called and noted a hope of a boardwalk view on our reservation to increase our odds. Any particular room #'s to give us and idea of the area to hope for? Thanks lots:goodvibes

Glad to share. I sent them to allears and they are now posted. Funny thing is, we actually saw Deb Wills in the Innkeepers Club while we were there but didn't want to bother her. Should've at least said hello. Never saw her after that one day though.

Hope everyone enjoys their upcoming stays. I'd love to squeeze another club level stay in but thinking of adding on some DVC points so gotta conserve for now!!:rotfl2:

We had rooms 3267 and 3269, pretty close to the lifts and partially overlooking the green and the Boardwalk. We loved these rooms, they had really huge balconies, we used to love sitting on our balconies each evening watching the entertainers below. We could also see Wishes in the distance.

View from our room - perfect :goodvibes

Our room was over the BW Bakery. I'll try to find the room #, if you so please. :)

Thanks! This helps me get an idea. If you can find the room # over the bakery that would be great too. I really appreciate any info.:thumbsup2

WOW! What a view! Lucky you!

I called today and asked them about the renovations. They said all of the renovations are complete. Does anyone know if this is true. They also said all rooms have a refrig and a coffee pot. That you do not have to request them. Can anyone confirm this information. Thanks!

While I can't comment on whether the renovations are complete, the rooms have had refrig. and coffee pots for a long time (at least on our last three trips).

I remember a few years ago there was a link to a list of the room # and descriptions; like standard, deluxe, cl, suites, etc. and it had room #'s and locations. It was a spreadsheet kind of not a so called map. Does anyone happen to remeber this? :dance3:

Hello. I know this is my 1st post, but I'm a lurker and not a poster, but had to sign up to ask when were you there? My wife and myself stayed in GS 1205 from 10/25-11-1. Also, I made a video of the suite. If anyone is interested in seeing a video of the room, I'll upload it to youtube.

I would love to see the video. TIA.

We are giving the BWI a try for the upcoming holidays. I'm really excited since I saw the pictures of the renovated rooms! All three of my kids each wanted to stay at different resorts, but it's my birthday and I get to choose for once! I even picked it over the GF:)

How are the holiday decorations?

Are there holiday activities for the kids?

I have been curious about the Boardwalk Inn also. I'm honeymooning there in May 2009, and was moved there from the Beach Club in order to get the "buy 4 nights, get 3 free" deal going on now (the Beach Club was unavailable). I have no idea what room I will have, but I believe they said I will be facing the big pool. Anyone know much about that view? I didn't realize they had honeymoon cottages, that is awesome... but way above my budget.
I'm sure it will be wonderful, but I guess I was concerned that the theme wouldn't be as romantic as the BC. Maybe I'm wrong though. Either way I'm excited! :yay:
If anyone has any tips or info about this resort that might benefit my honeymoon vacation let me know!

This was a strandard room with the new renovations. I wasn't aware of any trundle beds, but the old style rooms had a very small daybed, big enough for a 7-10 year old or so. The new ones are a regular twin pull out sofa, big enough for an adult. My dh slept in it all week.

I think I should have a king bed, since it is just the two of us on our honeymoon. Does it still have the small couch?

If you're facing the "big" pool, that would be on the villas side. Are you in a studio? what were you trying to book at BC that was unavailable?:confused3

We recently stayed in the villas with a Luna Park view and it was wonderful. I loved the BoardWalk.:goodvibes
