The Blind Side

DH and I saw it this afternoon. It was quite good! Lots of laughs and it managed to sidestep a lot of the nausea-inducing treacle of most "inspirational" sports movies.

Saw this with my kids and we all really enjoyed it. It was such a good movie, and my favorite genre (based on true life). I'm feeling weepy these days, and so I pretty much cried through most of it. Laughed out loud, too. Really good movie.

I have spoken to 3 people in the last 2 days that have seen it and they all loved it. Like Mary Jo, these are my favorite type of movies. I can't wait to see it and I know my whole family will enjoy!

DH and I saw it Saturday - first theater we went to was sold out- drove to another theater about 20 minutes away and got in. We both really liked it - it is more about family, than football although we are both football fans. DH read the book and was worried he would be disappointed by the movie (you know sometimes the movie doesn't do the book justice) but he enjoyed - thought it was great. I think Sandra Bullock was outstanding in this movie and the younger brother SJ was a great addition!
