The Birthday Gala at BLT

Our little group consisted of myself, TaraPa, Tara's friend who isn't on DIS yet, Tiggerfan4me, & our Duck. Well, it was GREAT!!! The group of 5 crazy DIS friends had one wonderful time at the World! We were there to celebrate my ___th birthday! I figured what better place to do it. If you celebrate in Fantasyland, it doesn't count, right????

11/12....Tiggerfan4me & myself got in verrrry late & checked into our room at POP for the night. Not much happening tonight......sleep!!

11/13...We met our Duck at the Contemporary to check into our BLT 2br villa!! Of course, it wasn't ready, so we checked our bags & headed to MK. What better way to start!! We found this cute couple standing all alone. We decided to visit. I proudly wore my birthday button!!!

We then made out way to the Haunted Mansion. After our ride, we needed to head back to the Contemporary for our ADR at The Wave! It was nice, but I wouldn't have to go back. This was the first "birthday dessert" of my trip!

While there, our other 2 friends arrived & then the fun really started!

After our other friends finished lunch at Chefs d'France, we headed back to our 2 br villa at BLT!!! Here we go.....

This was my surprise for the girls! Dark chocolate cake with white chocolate filling......wonderful! It says it all!!

We were up bright & early the next day. Why??? TONGA TOAST!!!
Do we look anxious??? We were!! Bring on that Tonga Toast!!!

Carol ordered the macadamia nut pancakes!

She & Tara shared so they could try both!! Way to go ladies! The best of both breakfasts!!

OK.....with that hardy breakfast eaten, we were off to AK.

On to the Festival of the Lion King

Since I was wearing my birthday button, one of the cast members noticed & asked if I would help with the "hand jive" instructions!!! Of course I did!!! What a riot! FUN!!! Unfortunately, the pics turned out very dark. But here's one just as proof!

Walking over to Finding Nemo, we went in many of the shops! Loved the wreaths!
