The Biggest Loser timeline....anyone know?

Heather could not weigh in at the finale because she was 5 months pregnant. When would she of conceived? I thought they were at the ranch for 3 months, and then go home for 14 weeks before the finale? That puts her at the ranch.

I am probably wrong, that is why I hope someone knows. I am just getting excited, thinking that she got together with her husband on the cruise. How cool would that be? The baby ws conceived on a reality tv show!

My wife and I were discussing this. I can't imagine with the huge amount of weight some of the participants lost, I couldn't have been less than 6 months, but you pose a good question.

Erik won. OMG! that man is amazing. He lost over 200 POUNDS!!!!!! He went from 407 to 196.

Kai lost 114 pounds! She looks amazing.

I don't remember Wiley's weight loss.

Heather came out glowing at 5 months pregnant so she couldn't weigh in.

Erik won. OMG! that man is amazing. He lost over 200 POUNDS!!!!!! He went from 407 to 196.

I'm not surprised Erik won, I tell you he looked great before they took the break even, he lost SO much weight, I hope he's able to keep it off...

Poor Heather, having lost all that weight previously, now she's bound to gain some of it back... hope she picks up where she left off when the baby's born though!

I couldn't believe how amazing Eric looked. I sat there with my mouth open in shock! He lost soooo much weight! My only question was where did all that extra skin go?

Kai was acting extra cocky on finale night, I didn't like her. But she did a great job on losing so much weight.

And Wiley, he had some celebs there cheering him on! Go Wiley!

Everyone looked great - I can't wait (or should I say "weight") for the new season to start. I really like this show

I was wondering that just last night. He was extremely huge. I wonder if the show pays for them to go through skin removal surgery?

I saw a man once in a water park, he obviously had lost a huge amount of weight. he looked fine from his chest up, but from his waist down, he had loose skin hanging. It really looked wierd, because he was thin, but had all this skin.

Kai was driving me crazy. Who was she talking to off stage?

Kai was acting extra cocky on finale night, I didn't like her. But she did a great job on losing so much weight.

I also thought she was really cocky. She wasn't like that at the ranch.

Erik looked AMAZING!! I really hope he can keep the weight off.

And Brian, omg, he looked like a whole new person!!

On ET or Access Hollywood last night Heather got pregnant right when she got home...said her new bod caused some excitement.

Erik did take his shirt off and he does have skin hanging. Not as much as I would have expected though after loosing 214 lbs.

Erik and Brian and Amy were my favorites - they looked incredible. I agree Kai was cocky- didn't like her at all - I hated when she kept sticking out her tongue - gross.

I was happy for Heather but after all that work and going for all that money you would have thought she'd use birth control until the end of the show. My friends and I were wondering if she did it on purpose to get out of having to continue.

During the finale, they showed Wiley at home. The little scale said 6 weeks until final weigh in. He then said, he has been home for 8 weeks. That is 14 weeks.

Maybe Heather "rounded up" when she said 5 months pregnant? I really don't think they are home for 5 months from the ranch until finale.

I hate the fact that it takes so long to make this show. I wish they could find a way to put it on like Survivor, a new season every few months. But, it is a little more involved than Survivor. It is so inspiring.

I hate the fact that it takes so long to make this show. I wish they could find a way to put it on like Survivor, a new season every few months. But, it is a little more involved than Survivor. It is so inspiring.

I watched the finale but I quit watching the regular season because I think they drag it out too much...so many commercials. But 14 weeks to lose that much weight...wow!

I often wonder how many of these individuals are considered candidates for gastric bypass...I also wonder if it costs less for the operation than the ranch.

DH and I hated both Kai and Heather every waking moment. They were unpleasant, whiney witches and Kai's cocky tude on the finale sealed it for us. I assumed she was "I-love-you"ing to the other girl who was in their threesome who was sitting with the other contestants.

What about the blonde girl who returned with Jaron? She lost a total of 58 pounds...but when she first got to the ranch she had lost 54 punds on her own. So that crazed whiney wacko only lost 4 extra pounds in the 14 weeks they were at home after the ranch portion ended???

Erik was amazing! I did not recognize him at first! SO glad he won. I never like Kai and she acted drunk or something on the finale. I am not sure who she was talking to on the side. It was bizarre and uncomfortable to watch her. She looked much better though!

We too were curious about the time-line with Heather being 5 months pregnant. We did not like Kai nor Heather the entire show, but Heather was at least likable on the finale.

Not trying to be mean, but Caroline Rhea needs a trainer I am afraid...

I agree about Caroline Rhea. I'm not terribly over weight but I would love to go on the show...but who has 12 weeks to devote to a relaity show? What about jobs?

I have known Erik's wife through another message board for the past six years. She said that he was at the ranch for 4 months and then home for another 4 before they left for Los Angeles last week.

Wasn't this an amazing season?! I have never really watched the show before but I was just floored by all of the contestants and their commitments. Very, very cool! And Brian--I almost didn't recognize him! I was so glad that he won the $100,000.

ETA: I should've been more specific about answering the OP! She said that it was "about" 4 months for each segment, so it would appear that Heather got pregnant immediately after leaving the ranch.

Not trying to be mean, but Caroline Rhea needs a trainer I am afraid...

DH and I talked about Caroline. Dh makes a good point, and as a fatty, I agree with him. You have the two personal trainers who are fit to a T. Caroline is perfect as the host, because she is not thin. As someone who struggles to lose weight, I think I would resent a model-thin host telling me to get on the scale. The people on the show would be surrounded by skinny people. I wouldn't like it.

I would actually get mad. I am glad Caroline needs to shed a few pounds. It makes it REAL.

ITA! I just started watching a few weeks ago and am totally hooked. I haven't watched the finale yet (TIVO!) but I am glad and not at all surprised that Erik won. I just watched the epi where Jaron's wife comes to visit and I got teary eyed I am looking forward to the new season so I can watch from the beginning!

I think it is some of her outfits that might need to be rethought. She can and has looked better than she did on the finale.

You make a good point though about a thin host telling others to get on the scale.
