I think Rudy will be like the the BL winners Ryan and Eric - in it for the $$ and game play, and as soon as it's done they gain all the weight plus some back. Ryan was the 1st season winner, and he's bigger now then when he first went on the ranch. I'm pretty sure it's Eric they were talking about in the preview for next Wednesday's show - he's gained almost all of his weight back.
I saw a weight breakdown of most of the other previous players when this season started. If I remember right, quite a few past contestents had gained minimal weight back - less than 15 pounds, a few had lost more weight, several had recently had babies, and a few had gained considerable weight back - more than 30 pounds. But, of those that gained 30+ pounds, several of them had been underweight at the finale.
As far as Kai is concerned - I think she had a HUGE disadvantage with having Kim Lyons as her trainer. I never got the impression that Kim "got" why people were overweight, and never really worked through the personal issues that are usually tied to obesity. Just my .02!
Looking forward to next week - my DH and I LOL'd at the fact that the Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now? show was the night before Thanksgiving. Maybe that will help turning down extra portions!
