~ The Biggest Loser ~ FINALE ~ We have a winner!!!

I think Rudy will be like the the BL winners Ryan and Eric - in it for the $$ and game play, and as soon as it's done they gain all the weight plus some back. Ryan was the 1st season winner, and he's bigger now then when he first went on the ranch. I'm pretty sure it's Eric they were talking about in the preview for next Wednesday's show - he's gained almost all of his weight back.

I saw a weight breakdown of most of the other previous players when this season started. If I remember right, quite a few past contestents had gained minimal weight back - less than 15 pounds, a few had lost more weight, several had recently had babies, and a few had gained considerable weight back - more than 30 pounds. But, of those that gained 30+ pounds, several of them had been underweight at the finale.

As far as Kai is concerned - I think she had a HUGE disadvantage with having Kim Lyons as her trainer. I never got the impression that Kim "got" why people were overweight, and never really worked through the personal issues that are usually tied to obesity. Just my .02!

Looking forward to next week - my DH and I LOL'd at the fact that the Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now? show was the night before Thanksgiving. Maybe that will help turning down extra portions!

Did anyone notice the look Bob gave Rebecca when they were leaving the weigh-in? If it weren't for Bob being gay and Rebecca being involved with Daniel, you'd thikn it was a "i'll see you later" *wink wink* look.

I really dislike Liz but last night I could totally sympathize with her doing the zipline challenge. A couple of months ago I almost lost it while riding a ski lift!

I'm not sure Bob is gay even if he did the abs thing. My DH does not think so.

I really think that Amanda & him are an item.

I don't think Bob is gay... maybe, maybe not.

Of course Bob is gay. I know he has not come out to be a public poster boy for being gay like Adam Lambert because it does not help a career. I am sure BL would not be happy with him if he makes a "public announcement".

Look at Anderson Cooper, he also stays in the closet.
That is either here nor there...though.:rotfl:

I am happy with the remaining contestants and I am rooting for Danny now.

Who do I think will win? Has to be Rudy or Danny at this point.

I don't know why people get so hung up on whether celebrities are gay or straight? Who cares? It has nothing to do with the show. That said, here are my thoughts.

I think Rudy will win it all this season. If there is an upset, it will be Danny. I really am rooting for Danny. I found Rudy's treatment of Shay appalling. I know they're playing the game for money as well, but Shay was still such a mess emotionally when she left. I don't see how you can choose money over someone else's human suffering. I don't think either of the girls have a shot, but who knows? Look what happened last season. I do have this terrible feeling in my gut that Tracey will end up winning the $100,000 prize, although I'm so hoping that Shay can take it home.

I'm looking forward to tonight's "where are they now?" episode. They eluded to the fact that one of the former contestants gained all their weight back. Could that be Neil? I remember he was all about the prize and not really there for his health.

Oh is there a special on tonight that I am not aware of? I am going to have to check.

Yes, Tracy is certainly a person that could win the at home prize. Although maybe Rebecca will give her a run for her money.

I laughed last night when I realized the Liz is from Cahpel Hill, TN. We went there in the summer of 2008 for a tractor pull. A really big event there. It is a really small town, with basically 1 hotel that was more of a lodge at the big park they have there. My Dh and DD took off late on night after the pull riding around and talking to other pullers and came back with a puppy. A house that bordered the pull grounds had several puppies and were giving them away. We named the dog Chapel Hill. We stil lhave her, and I hate her. LOL! It is the dumbest dog EVER. And we had to drive home 10 hours with this stupid dog too. The dog was good on the ride home, but just pregressively got dumber and dumber each day. It doesn't want to eat food when you feed it, it wants to jump on you. We have to keep her pinned up becuase she just wants to lay on the road. And anytime she gets out, thats exactly where she runs to. How dumb is that. LOL! :lmao:

I really hope Shay wins the at home prize! I have her on my Facebook and some pics she's posted looks like she is doing really well!

The only reason most of us want to know if Bob is gay or not is because the show seems to be "teasing" us with possible romantic interests between him and Amanda or Rebecca.

Does anyone get a "funny" feeling about Danny and Liz? I think Liz has a thing for him. I am so glad that he mentioned his wife, maybe that put Liz in her place. I felt very uncomfortable when Liz revealed that her marriage isn't great.

At this point, I'm not counting anyone out to win.

Last season, I was certain it was between Mike or Tara but then Helen won...

Liz seems so dependent on Danny. I thought in the earlier shows it was a mother/son kind of relationship, but after the last couple episodes I'm not thinking she sees him as a son.;)

Go Rudy, Go Rudy!

Guess I'm the minority here. I'm on Team Rudy!!!! (and not only because he lives only a few miles down the road here) but I truly like him. Liz on the other hand.....she could have left weeks ago and I wouldn't have shed a tear. Rebecca also rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. I do like Amanda and Danny is okay. And I also hope Shay wins the $100,000 at home prize.

I'm really not enjoying the 'where are they now' show.

They're just saying what they weighed at the beginning and what they weigh now, even though it's obvious that almost all have gained a lot of weight.
It's fine that they've gained. I totally understand that, but be honest about what you started at, what you weighed at the finale, and what you weigh now.

ETA: I don't think the blame is on the 'Losers' but on the editors. Show the truth!

I liked the "Where Are They Now Show?"

Yes, a lot of them are not as skinny as they were at the finale, but they still look great. I thought Helen lookd just plain sickly at the finale, she looked really good. I loved the girl from last season that was there with her fiance (forgot her name), but she looked great too. It was interesting to see how so many of them are trying to pay it back. I missed the first part, but I was hoping they would show Bob confronting Ryan (I missed season 3 so know little about Erik). It seems like Ryan could really use the confrontation from everything I've heard.

Mike looked really good at the dinner! I missed their part of the segment so didnt' get to see his brother.
