Whats the biggest discount that you've gotten for Disney? Either room only or a package? Mine is $992 discount of my package due to free dining this year. Lets hear them.

In August 2004, we got a package for $2,500 for 4 (2 adults, 2 teens).
It included airfare, lodging at Wilderness Lodge, transportation to and from the airport!
Have never seen anything close to it since.

I currently have a ressie at POP for Aug 13-18 for around $65.00 before tax per night with AAA discount. I thought that was pretty good for summer...still waiting to see if they will offer an AP discount.

We did get ASMO for $49 right after 9/11. Also CSR for $79 in Sept 2002.

We usually get AP discounts.

Last year Aug 07 I paid $82 a night for 10 nights @ POP plus free dining! and was upgraded to a 1 BR villa at SSR. rack rate at SSR would've been about 5K plus another $1100 for the dining plan.

That same trip I booked AKL std room with a 40% off pin for $129 a night for 5 nights and was moved (due to construction) to a lovely waterview room at BC (rack rate was $385 a night) for the same price!

That is by far my best deal ever!!!

In 2003, we stayed at WL with an AP discount in Aug for $114 per night. I guess that was the best price. We have also had CB and CS for 74 per night in May and Aug. The Free Dining at ASSports was also pretty good. They aren't equal comparsions since the free dining trip had rack rates but was worth it since the food was free.

We got 40% off at FW once. It was a military rate back in Aug. of 2004. The discounted rate was like $36 per night with a preferred site........awsome!

Two years ago in August we had a Waterview room at the YC for 189.00 per night!

a few years ago I got a rm at GF for 199.00 a night (magic castle view) and a rm for 49.00 a night at all stars. this year I got AKL CLUB LEVEL for 201.00 a night in dec

We had booked Poly GV at 249 per night last August but got bumped to Concierge when we checked in! That was simply awesome. I think I caught a few flies before I closed my mouth. That was Disney at it's best.

Got bumped to Concierge level, water view at Yacht Club for 199.00 a night during regular season (mid October) a couple of years ago. These days it's hard to get Yacht with ANY discount. Room availability using AP rates/pin codes/etc... is always extremely limited, so this was an amazing deal.
