The big question: which way is your "C"

Proper YMCA etiquette states "The correct arm motion for the letter "C" in the YMCA dance is to move your arms to the right. Do you write your C on paper to the left? I think not! That would be incorrect. Therefore and most logically, one must always move their arms to the right."

Oh great! I was just asking DH and DS11 how they do the "C" and referred to the "loser" thing as well. Now my DD3 is walking around going "Loser" to everything.

OR, would someone (maybe even that same person with adult beverages on board) ever switch each chorus (voluntarily or involuntarily)? Or switch after seeing someone else who makes their C a different direction?

I go to the left because there is supposed to be people looking at you doing it so you are going to the left so THEY can read it!!

Bingo!!!!! I thought this over and had my wife do it for me and it's defintely to the left if people are looking at you.
