The big question: which way is your "C"

Martha Stewart said:
Proper YMCA etiquette states "The correct arm motion for the letter "C" in the YMCA dance is to move your arms to the right. Do you write your C on paper to the left? I think not! That would be incorrect. Therefore and most logically, one must always move their arms to the right."
Geez Donna..........even Martha agrees with us righties :rotfl: :rotfl:

Mine go to the left. That would make the C correct for anyone viewing it front the front of me.
Same here.

My DD says

"Us young people know....you are making a C so your arms go to the right! D'UH!!!" :teeth:

I have to respond before reading any other responses as this IS quite a serious issue and I didn't want to screw it up.

LEFT!

My DH, who btw is usually wrong, says that his C goes to the right too :p

that just goes to show that even my DH can be right sometimes :rotfl:

Oh great! I was just asking DH and DS11 how they do the "C" and referred to the "loser" thing as well. Now my DD3 is walking around going "Loser" to everything. :rotfl2:

BTW ~ They do it to the left :teeth:

Hee hee hee!

Now would someone change the direction (left or right) of their C after they have consumed a couple of adult beverages.

This is a distinct possibility.

OR, would someone (maybe even that same person with adult beverages on board) ever switch each chorus (voluntarily or involuntarily)? Or switch after seeing someone else who makes their C a different direction?

Maybe we can just assume your DH is wrong as usual, and it's suppose to be to the left.

I go to the left because there is supposed to be people looking at you doing it so you are going to the left so THEY can read it!!

Bingo!!!!! I thought this over and had my wife do it for me and it's defintely to the left if people are looking at you. :teeth:
