7/13 No Buy Days!
Added to Savings: $115/$400

I managed a couple of no-buy days Wednesday and Thursday, but got the oil changed at lunch and picked something up at Target, so today wasn't a no-buy.

And on a good note, I received word yesterday that I qualified for the new "Tuition Assistance Program" at my daughter's private school! It gives me a 20% break on tuition starting in the fall. I guess they think I'm "struggling"! :rotfl2: I laugh because I think we are just fine - more than fine in fact compared to many, many families today - but if you knew the other parents at the school, I guess we're "poor" in comparison! Oh well - I'll take the extra cash in my pocket without complaining!

Today should be another No Buy Day. I took some beef cubes out of the freezer, so we're set for food. I decided to set my goal at 12 No Buy days, so I'm on track there (expecting more spending at the end of the month with the Target toy sale and my gymbuck redemption next week). So far, pretty much all the spending has been groceries/cleaning supplies. So I can't be too disappointed.

I am sorry to hear this. I hope everything turns out to be okay!

I can totally relate on the financial part of it; I did not include the health category in this month's no buy spending for myself because of all the appointments and things we have going on. We have spent over $425 this month so far (it's only the 10th...there's more coming!) on medical and that is WITH insurance! :scared1:

QVCShopper - I almost broke my no-buy day today because the Shark steam mop was on QVC as a TSV - for 3 easy pays! Oh, it was SO hard to say no!

Only 3 No Buy Days so far this month, but I will keep trying. There's always next month too, right? :lmao:

I'm not going to post my totals, bc I still have one more shopping trip to make after dinner.

I did want to chime in though and say, I have the Shark steamer mop thing, and I bought it on QVC, for 3 easy pays.....I LOVE it. I don't use chemicals to clean in our house, and I use this on our floors, hardwood, and tile, and am planning to use it on our two rooms with carpet soon. It works great! A great deal. Ok, I will do my best to stop trying to talk you into it, but, I think it will save you money in the long run if you decide to go for it! I seriously love it!

Charming,
Sorry I won't see you at Bon Jovi, but glad you had a great time at your concert. I'm getting a shirt too! I have waited 20+ years, so I am going for it.
Can't wait to get back on here on Tuesday, though it won't be to record a $0 day cause we will need groceries after being gone, but I look forward to catching up again!
