I've posted this before but for anyone interested, there is a documentary (hour and a half!) on YouTube called the History of Fastpasses.
It won't help this situation get any better but I found it fascinating about how they evolved and why they probably aren't going back any time soon.
I TRULY hope they find some way to fix this horrible awful mess they've created.
We were there in January and all ILL were gone a few minutes after 7 AM and the bigger Genie Plus rides were already only available in the late afternoon shortly after that.
