i think it will be VERY interesting to see what shilpa has to say about jade in her exit interview, it will either exonerate jade or fuel the fire even more.

i also think jade was coached by bb and i agree with other posters that her reaction to shilpa would have been the same if she was a posh english upper class girl.

I'm afraid that it totally showed that Davina and Jade share an agent - Davina never asks the questions that need answering and thinks the whole show is there for her own publicity.
Jade WAS coached by BB, its no secret, she was told all about the furore her actions caused prior to leaving the house and could prepare her answers up front.

I also noticed Jermaines 'white trash' comment which was partly why I asked in a previous post whether anyone thinks that if Danielle had said 'Just Eff off home' to a white American like Dirk it would have been seen to be racist

I think it is the way it what it is said i.e. Jade made the comment in a visious way whereas Jermaine was calm and explained that where he was brought up this is the terms used. no excuse I know but maybe this was why there was different reactions to the two situations. don't think either of them are racist I was more angry at the bullying of the 3 girls and I hope the other two get just as bad a reaction when they come out.

Shilpa still hasn't actually seen all the behind-her-back comments. It could well be a different story when she sees all the footage. And like so many other things, it's often not what is said, but the way in which it is said.

There's an excellent article in The Independent today by Howard Jacobson and for me, he's nailed the situation totally. I don't actually think that the racism issue is the big picture we need to address.

I agree with what you've said. Firstly she was prepped by more than one person - legally they could not have sent her out into the media circus without having a psychologist, advisor etc speak with her and i'd be shocked if her publicist had not had a crack at speaking with her.

I would say Jade is more ignorant than racist (although she is racist...those names she came up with for Shilpa would never have entered my head so they must have been floating around in head) but to me ignorance is just as bad.

She is old enough to know better, she has made enough money in which to educate herself and she chooses not to because she thinks its more fun to be thick and stupid and she reckons she will make more out of it this way. I sincerely hope other young kids don't learn from that.

I'm just watching Jade's interview on E4 and she looks way out of her depth, Davina is been soft but Jade's all over the place. I think it's pathetic CH4 are protecting Jade but I understand they don't want her suing them for not giving her access to a phyciatrist etc.

Jade's career has to be well and truely over. She may not be racist but she is a bully and in reality there is no difference.

At least she's gone now. And at long last Peace will return to the Big Brother house.

That or Danielle and Jo will find a new leader and more chaos will ensue..
