Hi all First timer here with my wife and 2 girls 5 and 3
we will be there in August 08 and i want to know from all you
Vets, where are the best places to eat. Im talking food (quality & quanity)
service and atmosphere ar ok too but i wanna know about the food!
ADRs are giong to have to go in soon so i need your help.
ps Cinderellas royal table is definitely on our list so whats better breakfast lunch or dinner...it will probably be our only character dining.

Are you on the dining plan? I'd suggest Le Cellier, Prime Time, Narcoosees (two credits but so worth it), WPE (great value and food), Cosmic Ray...if you want character meals I'd say Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace.

You should make your ADR's quickly!! Summer is very popular and many things are getting booked! I would get advice (but not from me, mom of 2 boys) for alternate princess meals, since Cinderella's is likely to be booked.

Anyway, we really like Chef Mickey's Breakfast, Crystal Palace lunch, Biergarten, Tutto Italia, and we're trying Kona this time!

I would start calling!! :)

The places we always go every trip are:

Kona Cafe - Great food and generous portions
Boma - Dinner, lots of wonderful items
Le Cellier - Great steaks and cheese soup/breadsticks
California Grill - very good food and a view that's the best
Not a TS, but we love Wolfgang Puck Express - the food is delicious and portions large...:goodvibes

Dinner at Cinderella's will only be Cinderella in the lobby and the fairy godmother in the dining room. If your girls want to see princesses, I recommend breakfast or lunch at Cinderella's.

Since it may be hard for you to book - some alternatives are:
Akershus in Norway - 5 princesses! We enjoyed breakfast - the princesses are there for B, L and D. Breakfast is regular American breakfast food. Lunch and Dinner have Norweigian food (in Norway! Imagine that!).

Another alternative - for the Cinderella lover - is 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Cinderella, Prince Charming, the step mother and step sisters (who are a riot, from what I've read!)

Awesome meals at WDW---

Cape May Cafe character breakfast--food is the best, service is great, and the characters have plenty of time to mingle and have fun with the children (and not-so-children;) ) Something for everyone on the buffet.... YUM!!!

Coral Reef-- Awesome dinner! DS17 had the steak and said it was great, I had the blackened catfish which was the best, and even picky DD16 and her BFF found something they loved too. The service was great and what can you say about eating among the fishes!!

Crystal Palace--We enjoyed the food at CP, but the service was great!!! The servers are very plentiful and attentive and the food is always full on the buffet.

Worst meals at WDW---

50's Prime Time--this place was awful!!! The service was not really good (she didn't want to bring DS17 two different drinks even when I told her it was ok to bring him whatever he wanted, then argued with me, not in a playing way like normal), the place was very crowded, and the food was awful!!! We ended up stopping for pizza about an hour later (we had to let the bad food settle a little first!). The best hint I have for this place if you HAVE to eat here, is don't eat the root vegetable hash!!! Not sure what kind of roots they are, but it is NASTY!!!
