The BEST things we ate August 2014!!!!

We were not on the dining plan, and the weather was brutal, so our appetites were small, but some things stood out!...

BEST NEW ITEM:

croque glace in EPCOT France L'artisan de Glace !!! So friggin yummy that we visited 3 parks in one day (using international gateway) JUST to get to France for another one for DD15...she chose raspberry sauce and hazelnut ice cream again.

BEST RECENT ADDITION:

chicken waffle sandwich in MK Sleepy Hollow!!! Right combo of spicy and sweet and crunchy and soft...HATE that they stop making them at 4ish

BEST TS MEAL (new for us):

lunch at Tusker House in AK....Had had dinner before, (and was worried about too much in-your-face character interaction from reports here.) Lots of delicious variety, with standout beef and salmon and mashed potatos!

BEST QS MEALS:

shwarrma platter and kefta sandwich (with hummus and taboulli subbed for the fries) at Tangierine Cafe in Epcot

BEST STILL-AS-GOOD-AS-EVERS:

corndog nuggets at Casey's in MK, Kaki Gori in Japan EPCOT, everything at Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD, pot roast at 50s Primetime


BIGGEST FOOD RELATED LET DOWNS: Menu change at Rainforrest Cafe in AK, Pork at Be Our Guest lunch.

It sounds like you had some wonderful meals. I love many of the places you ate! We got a fast-pass+ for BOG and one person was going to order the pork so thank you for the heads up!!

To be fair, it wasn't so much bad tasting as REALLY fatty!....I was a vegetarian for 22 years, so thing like that are really hard for me to enjoy!

That is a shame about the pork at BOG. I plan on having that in Dec but now may pick something else.
