The best thing you ever ate?

The cobb salad (minus the tomatoes and feta, plus chicken) and grapefruit cake at the Hollywood Brown Derby.

I do have to give a Best Drink shout out to the Lapu Lapu at the Kona Cafe, though.

I agree with cobb salad and grapefruit cake. We ate here last year for DH's birthday and had a great meal with great service! I also really like California Grille and Les Chefs de France (haven't had a bad meal at either). :dance3:

Tutta Italia - Lasagna

followed with a VERY close second of a steak from the Yachtsman - YUM!

Bits and pieces of different meals....

Tusker House - Bread Pudding
Ohana - Pineapple bread at breakfast.
Capt. Cooks at the Polynesian - Tonga Toast

Everything else was pretty good but these are the things that really stand out in my mind...

Almond Crusted Cheesecake from Narcoossee's,
Filet from California Grill
Cheese Soup from LeCellier
Key Lime Pie they used to have at Flame Tree
Grapefruit Cake at the Brown Derby

and the Burger from Beaches and Cream!

Before our trp last month I would have said the mushroom fillet at Le Cellier. But I am now constantly thinking of the "Sunday Roast" at Rose & Crown in Epcot. Best pot roast I've ever eaten. :)

Another favorite is the salmon salad at the Grand Floridian Cafe.

I don't remember exactly what the dressing was, but the dinner salad with a citrus- type dressing & the fillet at California Grill were excelent when we ate there in 2009.

Victoria & Albert's hands down - the entire dining experience. Not another dining experience comes close to V&A at WDW or for that matter any other place. The flavors that come out are out of this world.

Citrico's - All around an entire great meal.

On our most recent trip in September we ate at Jiko for the first time and I adored the food from start to finish. We began with the taste of Africa, moved on to the oak grilled filet mignon, and finished with some sort of chocolate mousse dessert......fabulous. I also really enjoyed the mushroom filet mignon at Le Cellier.

Can't remember what it was called, but a creamy pasta dish at Tutto Italia - it had ham and peas in I remember, and I would have licked the plate clean given half a chance.

Best dessert of all time is another big thumbs up for the Ohana bread pudding. It is to die for!

Pigs and Prawns at the Papeete Bay Verandah. And the appetizer was scallops in a lime/cocconut sauce.
By the way--that meal was in 1975!!

OK, seriously! The one thing that sticks out to me is the POPCORN! I could live on popcorn and the kind at WDW is the BEST!!!!! popcorn::
