The Best part of my day today...

Most of you know about my Karissa, that she is delayed due to a hearing problem ( that is now solved with ear tubes) her speech is still delayed as well as a few other things...
Sometimes you think she has something down and the next day its gone... its hard to know what each day will bring with her. I would never trade her for anything though she is a wonderful little girl and such a joy to be around!

Tonight at the dinner table she looked at me and signed as well as said with WORDS I.... LOVE.... YOU!

I started crying right then and there. It was so beautiful!! We all started cheering for her and clapping and so now she wont stop saying it LOL Ill take it though Ill listen to that as long as I can

I know how you feel. My youngest has a speech delay too and in the past couple months hes had a huge burst in words. Everytime he says something new its seems so amazing.

Good luck for continued progress for her, but it sounds like she has the important stuff down.
