I always take alot of video and photographs of the family at WDW. One of our best family photo's was taken at Vero Beach Resort in the tunnel entrance opposite side of the resort. The tunnel mural has a DVC logo and the phrase, If you believe in magic, you belong". Any other great DVC family photo locations?

Have you seen the mural on the wall inside the BCV's, right before you go out the door to the villa's pool? That would make a very nice backdrop.

Our favorite family photo taken at VWL was right next to the Mickey topiary outside the villas. Dh, ds & I posed and dbil took the photo. Very woodsy and you can see the villas in the background -- it perfectly captures the feel of our home! :)

We blew it up to a 5x7 and included it with our VWL member pin in a framed scrapbook-style page that we have hanging on the wall of our front room.

My DH loves fooling around a bit with certain photo spots.

For instance, over at the World Showcase, he's had the kids hold their arm up, point down with their finger, and, if he gets it just right, in the picture it looks as if they have their finger right on top of Spaceship Earth.

He's done the same thing at OKW with the lighthouse. The kids were actually across the street from it, but it looks as if they're leaning on it.

Of course, when he gets these brilliant ideas, we all    Ya feel kind of stupid holding your hand out in mid-air.;) ;)

Regina,

We love to do that too!We got the idea at the Taj Mahal...there are a million photographers trying to take your picture "holding up" the Taj. Now we try all the time but are only successful part of the time!

We love halfway down Main Street for the same effect with the castle.

I personally like photos inside of our "home." I somehow remember being there better, but I miss going back more...sniff...

oh, regina that's a fun idea....playing around with perspective in the photos...a little magic in your photos.

Now that would make a fun scrapbook theme.....magic photos at wdw!

DiznEeyore....your VWL page sounds great! That is one of our favorite spots too.....always have to get a photo of the kids standing with Mickey. Ah, how I love VWL! I'm just imagining it and getting all sad that we're not staying there this year.

I like the shot at OKW just across the bridge. You can get the Light house ,the marina and Turtle crawl all in one shot.

Lesley: That will be so neat -- you'll have pictures of the kids with Mickey as they grow! :)

Oh sure, it sounds like fun until you're the one getting the wierd looks. All that people see is you standing there with your arm in the air. For some reason, they find that odd.

Meanwhile, you're muttering through your smile "will you please take the picture." ;) ;)

I am not telling him about the castle shot.:p

Oh, my dh went through a phase where he thought it was funny to be waving in every picture of himself....our honeymoon photos are hilarious (there's Dave waving by 20,000 Leagues, there's Dave waving on Tom Sawyer Island, there's Dave waving next to the statue in Italy in World Showcase...and so on...)

Ah, well, I went through a phase where every photo shows me making a particular gesture with my hand  I think that was from about 14yo to 16yo.

I don't think my 8yo will mind looking silly at all....and my 3yo and dh probably won't mind either! Sometimes its nice being the one behind the camera!
