The Battle For My Wallet IV: Return of the ZZUBs (Addendum, p.85; 07/12)

Wow! I started reading your trippie thinking it was going to be a laugh a minute, not realizing how touched I would be.

I am so happy for your family for the new life that will renew your family's spirit.

My first pregnancy was a nightmare, being told that my baby had a severe genetic disorder and wouldn't live more than a week...and now she is 6!

My second pregnancy ended just like Samuel...no signs or anything...just devastation.

My third pregnancy...at 7 weeks they found no heartbeat and scheduled me for a d&c. It was then that my doctor wanted to take a look himself and found a heartbeat!! They almost got rid of my baby...unbelievable.

Third and fourth pregnancies were healthy baby boys.

Hope you have the same.

Congrats to the whole family! I had a feeling and was rallying at the end and now I'm so glad. God truly is amazing. :cool1:

I don't normally post on trip reports where lots of people hang out. You know you're a great writer, and it's just more stuff for other people to read to get to your stuff.

But I had to say, as a fellow Christian, you did an outstanding job of explaining they "why?" question that all Christians get when bad things happen. I am so glad that this baby's doing well, and I grieve with you and your family for the loss of Samuel.

Looking forward to "the rest of the story" (where I'll lurk in silence!)

Zzub!! Congratulations is too small a word and sentiment for that news!

Many blessings and continued prayers for all the Zzubs, big and small.

Now.

Go pick up a Whopper and some ice cream for your wife, and then get back to writing, please.

Congrats to you and your family!!!!!
Wishing a smooth and happy pregnancy for your wife.

Hope she was able to really enjoy the free dining on your trip. (eating for two!!)
:)
.can't wait to hear more about your vacation. I am sure after that day you felt like a huge boulder was lifted off your backs. Hoping this made your vacation even more magical!!! :wizard:

Having a miscarriage is very devastating and a true loss. It is something that people rarely talk about or want to share. It is also difficult to go through a pregnancy after a miscarriage. Those ultrasounds can be so nerve racking. You story reminds me of something similar I experienced many years ago when I was pregnant with my first son who is now 13. I already been through one miscarriage and months of infertility treatment. Every early ultrasound was scary.

Congratulations to you and Mrs. ZZub. Now on with the trip report - I can't wait!

ZZub...I read both at once (well now if you know what I mean). Your love for your family (all of them) is so clear and strong in these words.

I wish you all the best as you move towards this next blessing in your life.

I hope your vacation provides the break you need to restore some postive balance in your life.

Thank you sincerly for sharing this with all of us.

Congrats. Although I don't know you, your family is in my prayers.

DW is almost 13 weeks along, and has an OB appt. today. Hoping to hear the heart beat. Didn't hear the heart beat with DS until almost 16 weeks, so I'm not expecting much. But you never know.

Looking forward to hearing more. Again, congrats.

Congratulations! I was so mad - someone needed my help right in the middle of the cliffhanger part! Don't all my coworkers know that work is devoted to the disboards? Geez!
I am so happy for you and your family. May God bless you and keep you.

Welcome Back ZZUB!!!!

A huge smile came across my face when I saw your thread up on the boards. Reading your last trip report brought much joy and some sorrow. Thankfully, you and your family have trusted your faith in God and have moved ahead with your life. Samuel will surely be in heaven waiting for you.

I truly believe that things happen for a reason, but at times only God knows that reason. In time, He may reveal them to us, but we need to really listen to hear it. Hopefully, in time, you will learn the reason behind the events of this year. In the meantime, there is much to look forward to...

A trip report from ZZUB will be something I can look forward to and a new addition to your family is something you are looking forward to. Welcome back, God bless and here's to another of ZZUB's award winning (or at least it should be) trip reports...

Let the story continue....

Congratulations from my family to yours! May the Lord bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand as you wait for the birth of your little blessing. Your faith is truly inspirational to me. I will remember you in my prayers as you await the birth of your new ZZUB.

Z - there's not much I can say except congratulations, and I'm so happy for you. I hoped the foreshadowing at the end of your first installment was what I thought, and I'm so thrilled that it was. Prayers for you and your family for a happy and healthy pregnancy.

:grouphug:

Praise God!!..........I'll be praying for a healthy pregnancy and delivery of the newest Z. Jeremiah 29:11....... :)

Wonderful writing - vivid descriptions - I can't wait to read more!

Congratulations. :grouphug: I hope everything continues to go wonderfully with this baby. pixiedust:

Congrats!! This is great news. I kinda guessed it too.

ZZub, this may sound silly but your trip reports read like a love letter to The Lord and your family. The joy and pride you have for them truly shines though-they are blessed.

Great installment.

But... not in the way I expected it to.

Again.

So... therefore: I want to speak to your supervisor.

Because there is nothing here for me to pick on, apart or mess with. Nothing to grind you about. Or simply attempt to irritate or annoy. You. About.

You've effectively ruined my day. Again. Twice in a row. If you're counting.

If you CAN count.

Properly that is.

(We both know the answer to that one... two...seven.)

And... you can't spell either.

I caught at least two mistakes in that last installment. TFI.

Anywho... I'm glad. So glad. That you wrote those two before you left on your trip. And that I won't be expecting more of this offal tomorrow. Gee. Saturday is looking better and better all the time.

No offense to those who find offal palatable. Tho.

Oh... one more thing:

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Z is expecting!!!! That is wonderful! Fantastic. Magical news. I am SO happy for you. And... I would have said I had a feeling. Too. But... here's some news for you: It's played. Now. On this thread.

You are starting your awesome trippie with the news that you are expecting another child.

It's completely off topic and I will flag it as such.

But, WELL, THAT'S THE BALLGAME. Folks.

I can't top that. Nor would I want to. 'Cause I'm too happy for you, your wife, your daughter and your stupid mutt. Who has wiping issues.

Although... the realization that I can't top it has left me very, very cold. But... if I rub chicken fat all over myself, it will insulate. Me(l).

ROLL TIDE, ZZUB!

Cheers, Mel.

:moped: :moped: :moped: :moped: (copying La La)! TFI.
