The Barefoot Bandit - Colton Harris-Moore

So, has anyone heard about this kid? Apparently he has been wreaking havoc all over the northwest. He has stolen planes, yachts, broken into houses and businesses.

Now, they say that he stole a plane in Indiana and flew it down to the Bahamas.

On one hand I feel a bit bad for him. From the sound of it, he had a pretty crappy upbringing. But he has been stealing since he was 7 and it seems like this is a game for him now. Like he is taunting the police. The fact that people are falling all over themselves to support him (he has a fanpage and a facebook page) and think he is the most wonderful and amazing person.

So, what are you thoughts on him? I don't think he is dangerous in the sense that he is going to hurt someone but I do think that the more the media and his followers play him up the angrier the police are going to be. They are just painting an even worse target on his back.
