The Ballistics MATCH!!!!!

Dh just came in and told me that channel 10 down here is reporting that the ballistics from the gun match the sniper. YES!!!! They caught them!!!!!

The armchair quarterbacking by the media about the "Keystone Cops" was getting on my last nerve! I'm pretty impressed by the incredible detective work that seems to have gone into solving this case!

Kudos to all the hundreds of law enforcement people that worked so hard!

Chief Moose is suppose to have a news conferance around 7PM. I have the news radio on here at work and they said an unnamed police source says it matches. I am waiting for Chief Moose also. I know thay have charged the adult with weapons charges already to hold him. The kid is being held as a material witness. They both have seen a judge already.

I'm glad that the horror, terror, and killing are at an end . However, I don't think that our Law Enforcement agencies exactly distinguished themselves. If it wasn't for the idiotic clues that these two ******** conveyed, they'd still be on the loose today.......... Perhaps at some unconscious level they realized that they had to be caught...........

I think they were just stupid. And evil, too. And the law enforcement was simply overwhemed. (Montgomery County is NOT exactly a high crime area . . .)

Thank goodness! I'm sure there are many law enforcement individuals including Chief Moose that have slept very little in the last few weeks trying to figure out how to get this madness to stop.

It does appear that the snipers themselves provided some clues, but I remember hearing an awful lot of second guessing about how the police shouldn't be "engaging" this guy(s) because it would only feed his ego, he was only playing games, etc., etc., etc!

I just think we should let the professionals do their jobs and not have the media and all these so-called experts with their wild speculations on the TV 24/7. I don't see them out their putting their lives on the line!

I take it you didn't hear the man (can't remember his name but he's on around 6:30) on MSNBC calling Chief Moose a liar. He was going on a rant that he lied about the two not being suspects but only that they wanted to talk to them.

My wife got so disgusted that she changed the channel.

Good thing she did, because I was ready to climb through the set to punch him in the nose.

Then, on CNN, Lou Dobbs (who didn't have any "profilers" on his show) showed a piece on how WRONG most of these so called "experts" were.

There apparently were over 14 agencies engaged in this investigation, including local and State Police as well as the FBI and the ATF. It's clear that there was CONSIDERABLE friction under the surface between members of the combined task force. Such competing interests certainly were NOT helpful in solving this terrible crime. I hope that when the dust settles, we can learn from our mistakes...........much in the same manner that the ball was "dropped" by Federal agencies before 9-11..........

I'm with Snoopy - I love the Moose, and I think that he and his team did a tremendous job. We don't yet know all of the details, and we might never know them all....but I for one don't care...I wanted the nutcase off the streets, and it appears that he now is.
