The BALD and the BEAUTIFUL take a road trip to see THE mouse **FINISHED**

Aww! Reya makes the cutest lil' mouse :cutie: I love baby/toddler Halloween costumes :)
I just completed day 1 and 2 of my TR, thought they're sort of boring as we only just got to SF by the end of 2  I was straight back in work on Wednesday but i'm hoping to get a bunch more days done this weekend :goodvibes

Oh good, I'm so glad I haven't lost you and that you're still loving my report.

Judging by your PTR I know your TR is going to be fantastic!

You are so funny?!? Which Pixar movies have you seen?!? We love, love, love all of them. You need to have a pixar movie weekend asap.

Yep, it snows mid october every year here. It's sorta weird coming from extreme heat in Vegas and California to Snow. I kinda miss it though and I'm looking forward to curling up with my book and cocoa this weekend.

Thanks. My pre-trip report has been so off topic lately though. But once we get back from the trip and I do the actual report...it'll just be hundreds of photos. It takes me a while to do it though because I'll have to organize all of the photos from my camera and my husband's camera.

I've seen Toy Story 1, Toy Story 2, The Incredibles, Nemo, and Cars...and I think that's it. I own Monsters Inc but I have never watched it. I'm a bad disney fan...haha.

I wish it would cool down here. It's been too hot lately...close to 80. I need some fall weather. We have a fireplace now and a firepit thing outside. I can't wait to use them!!

Awwwwww, you're so sweet.... Thank you!!!

Yep, snow!! Great excuse for me to finish reading Breaking Dawn and relax in my pjs with a cup of cocoa!:cloud9:
Did I mention I just finished New Moon? I've decided I'm a Jacob fan. He sounds like he's grown into quite a hubba hubba. :lmao:

Besides, every time Bella talks about kissing Edward's cold lips, it gives me the willies! :scared:

I've been eager for the other two to come out in paperback. But I just had a birthday and my family is getting together to celebrate, so I'm secretly hoping SOMEBODY bought me Eclipse!!! :yay:

PS. Love the mouse costume, so cute! We never know around here whether it's going to be cold, or wet, or both. My boys haven't decided what they want to be yet, so I guess I'd better get on them to decide already!

I'm secretly hoping SOMEBODY bought me Eclipse!!! :yay:

goodluck! :goodvibes I got the first three at the library but I had to breakdown and buy Breaking Dawn as it was a non-holdable and I couldn't take that chance! LOL

I'm on TEAM EDWARD!! ALL THE WAY!!!!

Tomorrow I'm def. going to sit at home and read as much of breaking dawn as possible, I'm so excited!:woohoo:

I own two copies of each book.... LOL! Well actually I left my original copy of Breaking Dawn at the Anabella in Anaheim. So I had to buy another copy on the way home. Otherwise I have 2 copies of each because I needed to buy brand new hard covers so I could have them signed.

After breakfast we went to DCA for one last visit.

First we headed to the Hollywood Pictures area to enjoy several attractions .

Roadtrip046-3.jpg

We didn’t want to skip seeing Crush, so our first stop was the Animation building to visit our favorite Sea Turtle.

Roadtrip083-1.jpg

Roadtrip056-2.jpg

Roadtrip055-2.jpg

I have to admit it was a really great show filled with lots of laughs. :rotfl2: I loved hearing all the kids ask their silly questions. After the show we explored the Animation building a bit and headed to the Sorcerers Workshop to discover who our Disney Character was.

Roadtrip059-2.jpg

Roadtrip062-3.jpg

Alyssa was Ariel

Roadtrip066-1.jpg

Lori was Lady

Roadtrip072.jpg

I was Cinderella

Roadtrip074-1.jpg

And Reya was The Evil Queen from Snow White. :lmao: I have to admit she can act like an evil queen once in awhile.

Roadtrip070-2.jpg

Next we headed over to ToT for one last time. Chad and Will rode first followed by Lori and I. There was only a 5 minute wait!:woohoo:

Roadtrip090.jpg

After our last thrilling ride on the ToT we headed over to Monster’s Inc again for the kiddos.

12-20-05154.jpg

As we were on our way over to bugs land we ran into Chip, so of course Alyssa had to say “hi”

Roadtrip114.jpg

Next we went to Bug’s Land in hopes to see IT’S TOUGH TO BE A BUG, but there were “bugs” they were trying to work out so we couldn’t see it. Ha Ha Ha..... Get it?!?!? :rotfl2: "BUGS TO WORK OUT" HA HA .... Why aren't you laughing?!?......:confused3 Anyway.... ((This was probably one of my biggest disappointments of the trip)) So we decided to take the kids to ride a couple of rides in the area since we were there.

Roadtrip129-2.jpg

Our first stop in Bug’s Land was Heimlich’s Chew-Chew Train!!

Roadtrip151.jpg

Oh my goodness, what an adorable little ride! The kids loved it, especially Reya!

Roadtrip139-1.jpg

Roadtrip142.jpg

As the train passes through the half eaten food you could actually smell them.

To be continued …………………..

OMG!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Awesome clip!! WHO SHUT THAT???? :rotfl:

Great update as well!

I love (and stole :rolleyes1 ) that Tower of Terror graphic picture you took. That is so wonderful.. I'm sure i saw it and loved it but never would have thought to get the pic. Good eye! :thumbsup2

Great lighting on the Monsters Inc shot... another great photo. I liked that ride alot BUT.. I was disappointed ONLY because when I saw the movie for the first time I remember thinking "WOW this scene (with all the doors) would make a GREAT roller coaster and I hope they do it as a ride at DL!"
It's a cute darkride though.

I wish I had read/researched more (I find it difficult to say that, but it's true in this case!) about DCA before my trip as I didn't know about Heimlicks train and the "smell" factor. I would have ridden it just to experience that.

I still have to backtrack and hit the installment before this one though!

Thanks!

I think Heimlich's Chew Chew Train is a really cute ride. We took my mom on it when she came out to California for a visit while DH and I lived there.

Here we are acting like dorks while going through the watermelon...haha...

I always feel kind of dumb because we don't have children with us...oh well.

Where is that ToT sign?? Very cute.

I think I was Cinderella when I did that little quiz thing too. I wish I could be Ariel though. Maybe next time. I love that Reya was the queen...haha!

Thank you , Thank you, and Thank you!!

You really should check out the Bug's land area it is so freakin' adorable. I wished we would have spent more time there and definately ride the Chew-Chew train, as you could see below it's not just a kids ride. :lmao:

That video is hilarious, I found it on Stephenie Meyer's myspace page. Yep, she's one of my buddies we're like BFF we're really tight! :rotfl2:

It's fun to act like a dork once in awhile. I know what you mean about feeling dumb doing kid stuff when you don't have children. My husband and I felt like that all the time before we had Reya. Sometimes I think I only had a kid so I could have an excuse too do silly "kid stuff" :rotfl2:

Here's another picture of everyone being "dorks" on the chew chew train.

The meaning of Reya's name is "queen" , but I didn't know it meant "evil queen" :confused3

Roadtrip144-1.jpg

Ohhhh and I took tht ToT picture on large wooden gate that's located right next to where you pick up the fast passes.

Your daughter, neice and nephew are adorable. It looks like they had a wonderful time. I love the picture of Reya playing in the water at Bug's Land. She looks so excited!!

I also have to say that reading your trip report made me curious about the Twilight series. I picked the books up about two weeks ago and finished them all in a matter of days. My husband was in India on business and my kids go to bed early, so I was able to get a lot of reading time in. I got hooked in! Thanks

Ok, I'm caught up! Wow, WONDERFUL parade pics! I wish I would have seen that one :headache:

Breakfast with Lilo and Stich looked yummy, too! To get a picture of my family with Max and Goofy would be SO COOL! Was Goof there, too? I absolutely LOVE the Goofy movies... have you seen them?

Have you seen Emporer's New Groove? There's a scene in it where the villianess turns into a little white kitten and says in a high pitched, shrill voice, "I"m going to keeeeeeeeeeeell you!" (kill you). Once when DDC was about 2 or 3 yrs old she was at the doctors office and I turned around and she had M&M's lined up on the seat of a chair and she was pointing to each one and saying in a high pitched shrill voice (softly though BUT STILL).. "I'm going to keeeeeeeeeeeeeeell you!" :scared1:

None of the other patients could know, of course, that this was from a Disney movie! I'm sure they all thought we should be committed. :sad2:

:lmao:

Loving your TR.. thanks so much!

I guess I've never seen that ToT sign because I rarely go near that ride. I'm so afraid of it!

:lmao: YAY!!! I created another Twilight fan! I have yet to meet one person who hasn't been addicted to the series. In the begining I was nervous about mentioning the book to anyone because I felt silly reading it, and thought I was the only adult doing so. But when I went to SM book signing I was surprised at how many there were! You should read her book the HOST it's really good too, but be prepared the first few chapters are confusing.

JUST FOR FUN..... Here's a couple pictures of the author I took at her signing.

I hold you completely responsible for my new addiction  . Until I read your trip report, I seriously never even noticed the books even though they are everywhere. I just finished the excerpt from Midnight Sun on her website. I will have to go to the book store to get a copy of the Host now. Of course I probably should wait until after our Disney trip- we leave on Thursday. Instead of cleaning and packing last night, as I should have been doing, I was reading the Midnight Sun.

I enjoyed your trip report. It is so fun to see Disney through the eyes of little ones. I cannot wait to see how my kids react this time around. We went in February and it was a truly magical experience. I hope we have as much fun this time around- even with the crowds

Yakety76, do you have a pre-trip report? Are you going to do a trip report afterwards? I read your other one. Your kids are adorable.

Of course I remember you reading my report. You always said the sweetest things about my kids. :goodvibes
I do not have a pre-trip report. I have no plans to write a trip report, but that doesn't mean much. I didn't really intend to write the first one, but couldn't stop myself when we got back. I will for sure be sharing pictures whether I write a report or not. One more day to go :woohoo:
