UGH! I think i lost my kitchen and dinning room tonight. It's all covered in flour!

DD9 is sleeping at a friends house so DD8 and i finished up the baking for christmas...

10 dozen sugar cookies
5 dozen choc chip
4 lbs of peanut butter fudge
4 lbs of choc/walnut fudge
gingerbread (not cookies, but actual gingerbread)

I realized shortly through it, my kitchen is the pits when it comes to baking! The only benefit is the dishwasher which is on its 3rd run of the night! Cookie cutters fill up the top shelf fast!

All thats left is the icing for the sugar cookies, couple loafs of banana nut bread, chili in the crock pot on saturday for christmas eve family gathering, and possibly, maple walnut fudge for the Ex. DD8 has asked twice if "your making daddys favorite fudge this year" ...we'll see

Brandy

boy can i feel your pain

I did 2 batches of russian tea cakes

2 patches of this waffle type italian cookie called prizelle

7 dozen sugar cookies

a batch of divinity and a batch of fudge

I still have to make from scratch totally cinnamon rolls and a yule log cake for christmas dinner

at least it is your kitchen and dining room covered.. *I* am the one covered at my house.

I'm doing mine tom and I'm not looking forward to it. My kids will want to "help". I'd be looking more foward to it if this wasn't round two!! Wish me luck! Maybe I'll break open the eggnog.

Glad you got yours done. Enjoy!

I'm getting started today--been putting it off in lieu of presents/wrapping.

I've got waiting for me (not nearly as much as you all!)
2 loaves eggnog bread
1 loaf orange cranberry bread
2 cherry coffee cakes
1 giant banana pudding
a couple dozen jam thumbprints

I haven't even started need to get to the grocery store.

Oh oh a start of a new thread need to get baking done, but have to go buy the ingredients... :rotfl2:

Today I finished 6 batches of pumpkin bread. That's for the neighbors. Now I need to work on stuff for Christmas Eve for my family. Let's see, I've got to make gingerbread cake, clam dip, Chex Mix, reindeer cookies, peanut butter fudge, meatballs/li'l smokies in sauce.

I should be able to get all that done, right? I have all the ingredients.
