I also got good news yesterday...I got a raise! What a great way to start the trip.

I have no idea how you or my husband could work on a morning such as this... I would get nothing accomplished! With the raise, that means drinks on you at Promenade, right? Congrats!

This time of year we can expect the occasional shower or thunder-storm - just goes with the territory. I'm just hoping that we don't have all day downpours - especially at CC.

Hi from the road! We're near St. Augustine. Not sure how much longer DH wants to drive before turning in somewhere for the night. We're listening to the Pittsburgh Pirates game on his phone- almost over, I'm sure he won't wanna drive long after that! It's been thunderstorming off and on ALL the way down 95. Yippee! It's cruise day!! We are just about to take off from Atlanta! The first flight was a bit early, but I'm so excited! Can't wait to meet all of you in just a few hours!!

So we pulled over beside the Banana River here (after I cried when I saw the Magic) and we're checking out Manatees!!! This is the best trip ever!

The first time we saw the manatees,there were a group of people pulled off on the side of the road watching the ocean,so we also stopped to see what was going on,to our surprise there were several manatees mating in the shallow water.

Hoping everyone got home safe & sound!!

I can't believe it's over. Chris and I had a great time, and met lots of really nice people! Plus, we saw the Avengers a few times!!!

Yesterday, although it started off rainy & hazy, turned out to be very, very nice!!! We left CC a little early and returned to the Magic, and had a nice time at the adult pool. It was fun seeing the Dream from afar, later that night (around 8pm).

This morning came too fast. We were off the ship by about 7:20am, because we wanted to head back to our home resort for breakfast (our "last day ritual" ).

I have to admit feeling VERY sad as we pulled away from Port Canaveral, with the Magic in the rear view mirror. She was the first Disney ship we sailed on, and this was very likely the last time we'll be on the Magic, so it was bittersweet.

Eeek, back to work tomorrow

Hope everyone enjoyed their vacation--we sure did! It was very nice meeting some of you!

This being our first time participating in an FE group, we were truly humbled by all the wonderful and thoughtful gifts we received. We had no idea....

So many of you took some real time to make personal gifts, some my girls played with right away, others we have plans for when we are finally home.

My girls couldn't wait to go back to the cabin every day.

We are re-booked on the Wonder for next Spring break March 30th. We will definitely be participating in the FE then as well. We have to up our game though...

Ditto to all the wonderful FE gifts! Some of you had to have packed extra suitcases to get it all there! I was so excited to meet all of you! I am WAY bummed vacation is over! We bought extra DVC points while on the cruise... so now to figure out when we are using them again! I hope everyone has an easy time adjusting to the real world again.

We bought extra DVC points while on the cruise... so now to figure out when we are using them again! I hope everyone has an easy time adjusting to the real world again.

For some reason I didn't see you anymore after the first couple of days! We had a great cruise as well. We also bought some extra points - in Aulani! We'd visited the resort last May before it was open and were greatly impressed and wanted to return and stay. This seemed to be a good way to do that.

We really liked all the magnets we received. The message boards came in very handy. i have to admit that we gave some of our FE gifts to the family sitting next to us at dinner. They had two small boys (one blind) and we thought they might enjoy some of the FE gifts we received.

After the cruise we headed over to Saratoga Springs Resort and the parks for a few days. Our first time at SSR (our DVC home resort) and we liked it.

Have a couple of more days off before its back to work. We really enjoyed our room, very spacious and quiet. DH was underwhelmed on some of the cruise. He thought the pirate deck party was like watching jazzersize for the first 45 minutes. He is loyal to Royal so I have to talk him into another Disney cruise. We had so much fun with the FE. Landon would run to the room and look in his pocket. We also gave gifts to the little girls at our dinner table. I had brought a few extra and handed them out. They were on the flight that barely made it to the port. The food was better than Carnival and NCL and DH had escargot 3 nights in a row, he loved that. The following days in Orlando were interesting. Our hotel was having a horror film convention and had a zombie crawl on Saturday. Consequently no parking and the hotel told us sorry you have to find alternative parking, we don't guarantee our guests a parking spot. Like not, we ended up 4 wheeling it over the curb and parked on their lawn. Trying to keep Landon away from all of that was a chore especially when they had pool parties.
