The Bad Neighbor Thread

When we lived in a townhouse, the man next door was always making passes at me. He would tell me if I ever needed anything, to knock on the wall and he would be over. My husband thought it was funny and would knock on the wall to see how fast "freaky neighbor" would come running. I forbid anyone from touching the one side of our townhouse because I didn't want to deal with the neighbor who thought he was going to get a little something from me.
I like our neighbors where we live now. The one neighbor has a black dog that has no manners and runs loose. I hate trying to put my dog on his chain in the dark because I can never see the neighbors dog when he comes running full speed at me to say hi. This same dog will knock on my door for my dog to come outside and play.
The same family now has 6 more people living with them. The daughter and her tribe moved in. They fly up and down the street and when I asked them to slow down, they told me to go to work so my tax dollars can buy them steak for dinner. :scared1:

I have dog neighbors too. LOL 3 years ago their dog killed my cat, crushed her to death. She wasn't doing anything, she was sitting in our yard under our tree, their dog saw her from their driveway, he was unchained and he chased her across the street and caught her. She died on the way to vet's office, the vet thought she had been run over she was crushed so badly. This dog repeatedly figured out how to get out of the backyard, he was not trained and was aggressive. Animal Control did come out and take the dog, they did get him back but only if they met a list of rules, they met some of them but not all so the dog went away. About a year later they got another one, same type of dog but not the same one. 2 weeks ago this dog also got out and this time one came after me. Needless to say the police were called, Animal Control did come out and I haven't heard the dog in their backyard for the past 2 weeks. I have 2 dogs of my own, 2 cats and 2 kids, I absolutely do NOT want these people to have another one of these dogs, obviously they are not smart enough to take care of it the right way.

You're a better woman than me. I think I would have have been muttering to myself "No jury of my peers would convict me"....:rolleyes1 The dog would be *gone*.

agnes!

Well let me add to this... I have a bad neighbor. He left a tiny poodle outside for two hours in 20 degree weather. I was so angry and called the cops. The cop showed, tried to free the dogs leash from the door then relized it was unlocked. Dumb neighbors were home and DRUNK the whole time while there dog suffered.

I hate when my neighbors go flying through the subdivision or are impatient with kids for crossing the street or otherwise seem annoyed by kids playing. You live 1/4 mile from an elementary school, there are going to be kids is my motto (I only tell myself, obviously). If kids bother you so much, MOVE! The elementary school isn't going anywhere, it's just going to bring in more kids. SLOW DOWN!

We have a neighbor across the street that always accuses our dog Shorty of pooping on his porch in the backyard. In Seekonk we don't have a leash law just a control law. The problem is that Shorty has never pooped where people can walk. He poops in the bushes under a tree etc. Our neighbor calls the dog officer and return she calls us. Every six months it gets to a head. He has gone to the extent of following me and taking pictures. I think it has more to do with his wife whose father's second wife is my first cousin once removed. I have no contact with this cousin except at funerals. There were no problems with this neighbor until we got the dog.

Are these your bushes or your neighbor's bushes?

I don't have a problem with dogs pooping in my yard, I mean, after all "poop happens" :rolleyes1 . What I DO have a problem with is when the owners don't pick up after their pooch. I don't even have dogs and the biggest piles just mysteriously appear in my yard every so often.

If I wanted dog poop in my yard, I'd get my own dog and let him crap there. Or I'd go to the mall and buy some at The Dog Poop Shop. Oh wait......There isn't a dog poop shop, because no one wants to buy it! They barely want their own dog's poop, let alone anyone else's.

So pick up that poop, will ya? Or someone may do what I did to an old neighbor and use a shovel to fling it right back in your yard, letting it hit whatever it comes into contact with......yard, car, house, kid's toys, whatever. Your poop=your yard or your bag. Not mine.
