I thought he would have given both Helene and Gwen roses. i think he feels that Brooke is "needy" and would not be able to handle the "break up" this week.

I think he is going for Helene. My DD wants her to win!!

Last night was the first time I watched it, I always watch the Amazing Race on Wednesdays. I couldn't believe that he voted off Gwen. She was obviously the most intelligent and genuine of the three. She was also the oldest ..... hope that didn't have anything to do with it!

I noticed when Brooke was crying at the end and saying how scared she was,he was patting her back like she was five years old or something. I can't believe he kept her on.

And Helene, maybe she's different than how she appears on camera, but I don't believe that those are real sparks between them. I'm with Snoopy, there's something about her that I don't like. Maybe it's the way she still speaks like a teenager.

Well, he may as well have broken up with ME, that is how upset I was that he didn't choose Gwen.

I SOOO felt the same way, I was totally in shock. There's just something about Helene that I don't like, I really think she's a bit phony. Aaron did look uncomfortable with Brooke in the tub, but the way he talked about Gwen, I really thought he was going to choose her.

Don't the kicked off girls usually go on a TV show the next morning or something, I would love to hear what Gwen has to say.

Did you see the preview of next week, where all the girls will be there to speak their mind? Can't miss that episode, for sure! That scary Kristi was looking really psycho talking about how she can't believe she acted the way she did. Yeah, right........ You just know this woman has a loooooooong history of fatal attraction.

I don't like Helene at all. I wish it would have come down to Brooke and Gwen. Although I think Gwen being married before bothered him.

Well, it was my first time watching that show, just out of curiosity since Jay Leno always calls it the stupidest show, but I gotta say it was voyeuristically fun to watch. I liked Gwen best of all three. Problem was Brooke's needyness and tears...sorry..but tears are second to nothing when it comes to moving a guy's heart (you know that, ladies...don't say you don't). I think those tears are Brooke's strategy...and it's working. It's a good thing women can't successfully use tears next to their second most powerful weapon: makeup.

I absolutely cannot wait for next week's episode!!!!!!!! Poor Aaron with all those women he did not choose, LOL!

I still feel so bad for Gwen, I really liked her alot. What made it worse was when she was questioning Aaron when he walked her out and he told her "I hope I didn't make a mistake here"....what a STUPID thing to say to a woman who's heart you just broke

I was also rooting for Gwen, she was the most classy and smart one of the 3. DH knew the whole show that he was going to dump her, he kept saying she was the one who was going to be gone, even though he wanted Aaron to pick her. I guess he can read another guy's body language or whatever better than me, because I didn't think he'd not choose her.

Did anyone see Aaron on The View yesterday, he said it was going to be a surprise whe he wouldn't give a rose to, I was hoping the surprise would have been that Helene was out!! I'm with Snoopy and everyone else who said there is something about her, I just don't like that girl! Who said she talks like a teenager? That's my thought exactly, she's a school pychologist, yet she acts like she's in college still, instead of Brooke! Unfortunately, I think its going to be Helene that he chooses. Oh well. We still love you, Gwen!!

I too wanted Gwen to get the rose, I really liked her and thought they'd make a great couple!

Blondie, Helene has the long, straight brown hair, all one length hair. She's pretty, but I just don't like her for whatever reason. Gwen was prettier!

Yup, the Bambi factor definately put her over the top. The way he patted her back at the end of last night's episode gave me the creeps, like he was her father or something. He feels guilty about her, you can tell. Which is a shame, because she is going to be one unhappy young lady next week, mark my words.

I like Helene a lot. She actually reminds me of a friend of mine who is very introverted but has this really quick, dry wit once you get to know her. I think she seems very normal - I like that she is more reserved and suspicious. I think it's only natural in this situation. I think she comes off as a very normal person and the others are a bit beauty queenish.

I liked Gwen alright but they just did not seem to talk about the detail stuff - like why her marriage didn't work out - that real couples would have to deal with.

I agree with you. Brooke needs her father and seems to be trying to substitute a boyfriend. How sad!
I don't like Helene either. She giggles before and after everything she says. There is just something about her that I don't like. I think he made the biggest mistake letting Gwen go!

Oh, and to Shortbun, on CharlieNJ's post yeasterday where he heard Aaron on H. Stern... Aaron said he didn't sleep with anyone because he didn't want controversy on TV or something like that.

I fell asleep on it last night but KNOWING I would I taped it while it was on! I rewound it at about midnight then stood there just STARING at the screen...

I couldn't BELIEVE IT!!

Oh, well, now I don't care who he picks!! Funny, but the AOL poll has Brooke winning with Gwen coming up THIRD! They might be right!

I'm so glad joeblack wrote what he did about what guys want. Remember guys, we are like the sisters and Moms of this guy and we want something DIFFERENT than he does! Gwen is too much woman for this guy, I think he likes the Daddy role he plays with Brooke and the challenge he gets with Helene. WhichEVER, there is no way this is what he claims to be "LOVE". What a crock! If he thought that was going to make her feel any better he might as well of stabbed her in the heart.
